We stayed at this bed & breakfast in early August. Antonella, the owner, was wonderfully warm and helpful, giving us a map, showing us how to use the keys, suggesting good walks and restaurants, etc. She's not on site all the time, but we both used WhatsApp to communicate and that worked great. The B&B is on the 3rd floor...

I have been at this place already twice, last year in February and last March and I must admit that it has been great. Very close to the Vatican and to the subway. The place is very clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and attentive and, Antonella was super. Beside being a very charming lady, which is a plus for...

Finding the right accommodations for a family of five (w/ three young school aged children) in Rome was very important. We needed something with a great location, clean and spacious room(s), and reasonably priced. Gli Scipioni met all of the above and more, especially with the friendliness and quality service that our host (Antonella) and her staff provided. The B&B...

We stayed here for four nights in May 2016 and have nothing but a good experience to report. Antonella arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport and drop us off at the B&B. The price was very reasonable. One of our group was pick pocketed and she was instrumental in coordinating the delivery of a replacement...

We stayed here for four nights this spring. The location is superb, just round the corner from the Vatican and a few minutes walk from a metro station. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the setup means that they have no problem with you helping yourself to food and/or drinks at any time during the day. There is a good...

Stayed for 3 nights in May 2016, and are very happy with the choice of B&B. Antonella is a very friendly and helpful host, and the rooms were nice and clean. The B&B is something like a part of a private block building and have 3 rooms. The breakfast is self service with a nice selection of food to choose...

Stayed here in May 2015. Antonella was a great host, and the location was great for seeing all the sites. It's close to the Vatican, and we took the subway everywhere else. They also had a pack n play crib that was a huge help. Would recommend this place for anyone traveling on a budget.

This is a small bed and breakfast with 3 rooms. We were 4 friends traveling together. The location is on a quiet street not too far from the Vatican. Everything was clean and well thought out. Even robes and slippers, chocolates on the bed - so nice for such a small place. The breakfast was self service, with plenty of...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
