I was a little skeptical as I rarely stay in places with an overall rating on tripadvisor that is less than 4*s.
This place did not disappoint, in fact, it exceeded expectations. Location was brilliant. Walking distance to Trevi, Colosseum and Termini.

At just 5 minutes walk from the train station and about 20 minutes from the colosseum, this small family run hotel is great value for money. It's clean, neat, and for a very good price. Restaurants nearby. We had a great stay!
It's lovely small apartment located close to Termini station, restaurants and cafes. We walked to colosseum, spanish walk and almost everywhere. Anyway walking is the best way to experience ROME. We took the train to Vatican though. The bathroom was clean and was just perfect...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
