I stayed at the tower this time on a business trip having previously stayed there with my family on holiday. It did not disappoint. Far from it. The service was as friendly as it had been before, my room - different from the room I'd had before - clean and comfortable. As I was travelling on business this time I...

My partner and I stayed a week before Christmas--Rome was wet and cold, but the welcome at Torre Colonna was warm and friendly. Felice showed us the 2nd floor room, a bright sunny yellow with windows that looked out on the street, a separate though small closet area and the spacious bath with heated towel racks. Because we had arrived...

This B&B has a great designer sense for all of the rooms and dining space as well as a great view of Rome from the roof garden. The room was spacious and updated with modern fixtures including a great two person Jacuzzi. The pod espresso maker in the room was a nice touch. Staff was eager to assist for museum...

We stayed in Room 1 in Torre Colonna during our honeymoon in September, and it was the perfect getaway. First of all, the location was excellent - close to the Colosseum, a leisurely walk to the Pantheon, Piazza Navonna, etc. The rooms were cozy, but clean and modern, with a chic decor that had an old world feel (our room...

It is just incredible to have breakfast and a view straight on the Capitol, the Trajan's colonne.... Incredible location, very good rates, the owner and his staff are just perfect. Very nice room, with a fully arranged dressing and a very large bathroom. Good breakfast, just the paintings (everywhere in the hotel) are not that perfectly matched to our taste,...

I'm sort of puzzled by all the great reviews for this B&B...maybe they made my expectations so high and this is why, sadly, I was really disappointed. My new husband and I were on our honeymoon and so we stayed in some very special places during our 2-week stay--this was the worst of the bunch. First of all, when we...

We visited Rome in July - just took me a while to write this review! We loved staying at the Torre Colonna. Very unique and a great restoration of an old tower. Very conveniently located and within walking distance of all the main sights. The rooms were clean and comfortable and nicely decorated in a modern style. The room was...

I would highly recomment Torre Colonna as a wonderful home while in historic Rome. The location is great as it is within walking distance of many of Rome's treasures. The Residenza is so unique in its design and structure that you'll find the urge to call your friends to describe it. We loved the breakfast that Felice had waiting for...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
