After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor about the Torre Colonna, we decided to extend our stay in Rome by an extra day. We were not disappointed! Residenza Torre Colonna was an amazing place to stay! Sarah, Alvin and Igor were very helpful and made sure our 4 night stay was fantastic. The inside architectural design and decor was charming. My wife and I stayed at Torre Colonna on the 20th July. This was my wife's birthday, and the first day we arrived in Rome, of our 3 night trip. The hotel is a real haven in the centre of Rome, very close to many of the main sites. Staff were excellent, room lovely, breakfast of a very good standard....

My fiance and I made our second trip to Rome and decided to stay here once again. The first trip was in November and this trip was just last week in the heat of July. I doubt I will ever stay anywhere else in Rome short of buying my own apartment. Alvin and Igor make the stay clean, the breakfast...

This place is a hidden gem. Sara and staff made every effort to make our stay the best and even went out of their way to have gluten free food for my son and I when I mentioned that we couldn't eat gluten. Breakfasts were great ( thanks to Alvin) and our room was just perfect for a couple with...

What a unique place! It boasts only 5 rooms (one per floor) and is in a 13th century medieval tower. The location is amazing - right by the Imperial Forums and centered between Ancient Rome and the historic center. We found it very walkable to all of Rome (including the Vatican and the Borghese Gardens). It's also right down the...

I hesitate to tell about this little gem ... only because I want to be able to return soon! Centrally placed, nicely appointed, roof garden has views over the city. Great breakfast and excellent service with friendly staff. The 1 room per floor layout is fine, but the metal stairs are noisey. This is NOT an hotel for children as...

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip through Italy. We definitely have high praise for our stay at Torre Colonna. First of all, how cool is it to stay in a building with such obvious age and history that still comes with modern accoutraments like internet, rooftop jacuzzi, and an amazing shower fixture? Second, the...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
