We were on a budget, which is hard to do in Rome and found this nice bed and breakfast. Big, clean rooms, mini fridge, nice bathroom, big shared balcony. The owner was super nice and helpful. It was about a 20 - 30 minute walk to St. Peter's square or a quick bus ride, stop right outside the hotel. The... More

We really enjoyed our staying at Bed a San Pietro; just 5 minutes by bus from the Vatican, very clean and comfortable room, very good breakfast... and what to say about Tiziana, the owner, always very helpful and kind? Very good quality for a very reasonable price.

Chose to stay here because of reviews so knew what to expect. Tiziana went out of her way to look after us and she spoke English which was a help. The room was comfortable and clean and the continental breakfast was good. We were fortunate to be able to have breakfast on the terrace until our last day as we... More

As it was my first visit to Rome, we choose to stay at a local place and not at an expensive hotel....wise choice!!! The owners were extremely helpful, spoke English (a plus) and the B&B was close to the Metro (Colonial Stop). The rooms were very clean, had air-conditioning and color coded; we had the Blue Room. They had free... More

Very friendly owners, and clean place to stay, but this is more of an office space/large apartment converted into small rooms. I only mention this because the description is a bit misleading. We had a tough time finding the place at first, and no one was there when we arrived. However, Tiziana was very friendly, and the rooms were comfortable... More

Overall we had a good experience and it's a good value for the location. We stayed in the green room. Pros: 1. 1.3 miles away from the Vatican. We walked there and back twice. Close to bus and metro. 2. Free WiFi! 3. Free Breakfast 4. Spacious room with a double bed and small breakfast table. We even had a... More

I stayed for two nights at the end of September, 2013...From the airport I took a shuttle service (which I booked on Orbitz) and with the B & B address, they had no trouble finding the location. I was suppose to be there for two nights. I picked it as they had airport pickup and drop off. I called, and got an answering machine. Took an expensive cab ride. NO ONE WAS HOME. We stayed in this b&b last week, there was 15 of us in total and we all fitted in nicely. The owner was very friendly and understanding. I was there with my teenage daughter. Real value for money. Located in a 'real' non tourist neighbourhood, in a modern apartment building.
