The location is nice and the personnel is nice. The room was also fairly clean but the overhall hotel is not what I expected. The wifi didnt work and the window had such a thin glass that we could hear the central station chaos all night long. The room was fairly small with quite a depressing interior and the shower... In practice it's apartments transformed into rooms managed by the hotel Luciani, by the way where is the check in and have breakfast. Very central location. Opposite the train station of Termini with connections to buses and metro. Friendly, helpful staff, and even given the tip to deliver the rented vehicle at the station, which I did not know that... -I had read that the hotel was in a different building to a reception but on arrival I found out it is actual just a bedroom in a building owned by the hotel. I needed 3 keys to get to my room, building key, floor key (floor owned by hotel) and room key. Day staff were nice however the night... More

The hotel is just outside the train station Termini. If you cross the street you can find buses to Ciampino airport. The area is not the best and you need to be aware of your belongings always. Around the hotel you can find buses, trains to move around Italy and to go to the Airport. Also you can find shops... More

For a budget hotel it does everything it needs to. You get what you pay for! Quiet, clean room, right outside was the Terravision bus stop! (Handy as I had to catch 0430 bus to Ciampino). Staff helpful even showed me to my room. A place to crash after a long day in Rome.

This is not actually hotel but one floor in the building. When we came around 21h, we were confused regarding exact location of hotel. At the hotel's adress there was one big door with no exterior marks or flags of hotel. In interphone was one small button with name "Hotel Ciao". We were waiting around 20 minutes for the guy... Location wise is good since it is nearby metro station. The service is not that good because there are no staff stationed on the said hotel you still need to call to the other hotel to get what you need like hot drinking water. Room are big, bathroom doesn't have an exhaust fan.

My partner is currently staying at this hotel on business. Rooms are very small. Can't open window due to the smell of Chinese restaurant downstairs. Air conditioning did not work first night. Very small breakfast room and very basic breakfast. Stale bread roll, small piece of cheese, juice and Coffee. Hotel is split between 2 buildings and breakfast is in... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
