Very close to Termini station this B & B was comfortable and so easy to access. There is one flight of stairs if you have trouble with luggage but the large rooms and super location make it a worthwhile place to stay. Very updated and modern washrooms, our room was clean and fresh!!! We were given a chit to purchase...

We only stayed in Rome for one night (wish it was longer) and stayed at Habanas Design. It's nothing too special but it's close to the train station (literally 200m), it's comfortable, easy to get to the sites, etc.

This is not like a normal chain hotel. Rather it is one floor in a very old building, with three rooms which the owner has renovated himself in an unusual, artistic style. The rooms are small but very clean, light and airy, with fresh, new fittings including new bathroom. If you're lucky your room will overlook an attractive park. It's...

Habana' design is very well located in terms of tourism - being across the road from the bus/train station and a ten minute walk for the colosseum. Although the area is overcrowded with young/homeless people at night, it's hard to get away from that in Rome. The owner was extremely helpful throughout our stay and was always available to fix...

I stayed there 4 nights. In general, room is good for the money you pay and clean. Air con and wifi are much stronger as compared to the other cities I've been to, so I'll call this good. We took TAM coach from airport and its just one street away from where the coach drops off in the Termini. However,...

When we arrived, there was nobody there although we did specify our time of arrival when booking (through booking.com). We called the number provided and our host came in about 15 mins, not a big problem, it was just a bit strange waiting in the corridor. Check in was friendly and efficient. The room was quite big, a very comfortable...

This is right next to the train station so it was very convenient for us arriving for one night from Naples before flying home. Very clean and modern. Looks just like the pictures. Window overlooks the park. Call when arriving and owner is there in five minutes. He is very friendly and helpful. 3 rooms with a nice common area...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
