My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay in Frank & Solidad's apartment in October 2016. Frank was welcoming and knowledgable and the apartment is beautiful and in a great location. I'd definitely recommend it.

Frank is a very nice and hospitality host who gave me a warm welcome when I arrived at Rome. He patiently provided a lot of useful information for local good food, place and told me how to avoid the queues around the attractions. Really really useful tips!! The location of the house itself is very good as well. 5 mins...

Recently came to Rome for a work conference and was looking for a centrally located flat at a great price; found it: Frank's House. The room was well appointed, and very clean and spacious. The bathroom was spotless and the wi-fi excellent. Frank was also extremely accommodating and helpful in arranging transport and reservations. Make sure to pick his brain,...

My best friend and I had a great stay at Frank's! Very clean, homely and bright! Frank was so easy to communicate with and was a great host. The location was fantastic, around the corner from a metro station, which takes you to a lot of popular attractions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Very helpful staff (I mean Frank), nice rooms and great location- everything is in walking-distance. I would give 5 points, but we did experience low water pressure- so 4 points out of 5 points. Thank you Frank :)

What a great spot! Was greeted by Frank at the front door and shown thru the room, how everything in the room works, local maps, knowledge, tips, metro and some great places to eat. This changed my thoughts a little of how to tackle the city due to the ease of walking most places if your willing and able. Using...

We were met on arrival at the apartment by a very cheerful Frank who promptly showed us our room (we had the room with kitchen and bathroom overlooking the courtyard). Frank helped us tailor our first days activities advising us where to go, how to get there, how to avoid tourist traps and pickpockets (they are on the metro but...

I was on the tail end of my Italy stay for my birthday and stayed at Franks House. He greeted me at the door as I exited from the Taxi and knew everything about everything. The room was just like it looked in the picture and the bed was amazingly comfortable.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
