This hotel was centrally located, just a three minute walk to Campo Di Fiori or Piazza Navona and very walkable to many other major sites. The rooms were clean and well appointed, with great AC...a must in summer! It was also nice to have a refrigerator in the room. The morning breakfast was included and had a nice selection of...

This hotel is beautiful, quiet, centrally located and easy to walk from and find again. Their service was impeccable and the breakfasts are really tasty and a good foundation for a day of walking. I had a small room as a solo traveler and it had everything I needed.

I did a ton of research on Rome hotels before our trip and probably looked at fifty websites. I have to say it paid off because we were extremely happy with Smeraldo. I traveled with four old friends on a 40th birthday Italy adventure, and we loved the hotel because the concierge spoke English and was super friendly, the breakfast...

This hotel is situated in a perfect location! We walked everywhere with no problem. The men at the front desk were very helpful and provided directions to all of the sights. They also made dinner reservations for us on our second night! Staying in the annex really seemed no different than staying in the main building. Shuttle service from the...

As others have written this hotel's location is excellent. It is walking distance to almost everywhere a tourist new to Roma wants to see. We only took a taxi to get to the Vatican , the Borghese Gallery (because we needed to get there very early) and the Tiburtina Train Station. The room was quite small, but clean. The bathroom...

Smeraldo was a great hotel to stay in while visiting Rome for one major reason - its location! We were literally walking distance from ever single site to see in Rome, the furthest distance being no more than 2 miles! The room was clean, and romantic. We often left the shuttered windows wide open to welcome the breeze and sounds...

We stayed here for five nights in April and were really happy with our choice. We arrived at about 10.30pm after a tiring journey and were greeted by Leonardo on reception - he recommended a great local restaurant and rang to make us a reservation. It was a great start to our holiday. The hotel location is excellent for getting...

It was an unexpected trip to Italy for us as our daughter had to have surgery in Rome while on a school trip. The hotel was very accommodating for our last minute arrangements. Our room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfasts.

I really can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is centrally located in the old city. Clean and updated. Everything in the room worked well. I was traveling with my daughter and we felt very safe staying here. We stayed in the main part of the hotel. Fabulous, generous breakfast. (Even the Coffee- Americana they offered was good)....

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighbourhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
