Leon's Place Hotel has good interior design and high ceilings, but the room was too small and location was a long walk to nearest public transit. We can't comment on the breakfast but did appreciate the breakfast boxes the hotel put together for us to take away as we had to catch an early flight. There is a pretty cool...

The hotel is located in a quitter area near the British Embassy. It's a 15 minute walk to Termini and around the same to the Trevi. There is a Metro stop around 10 minutes away but we found we walked in and out of the centre each day. There is a fantastic Gelataria along from the hotel that was queued...

My Fiancè and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was modern and smart looking. The breakfast was awesome and the staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is in the embassy section of the city. Which means it is a little bit out of the way of the main sights. Which isn't...

We are about to check out from a 3 night stay here at Leon's Place. The waiters and employees were fantastic 5* for them!! Especially at breakfast. Tasty breakfast with a wide variety and a clean beautiful dining area. The rooms were comfortable and clean, our bathroom was very pretty and a nice big bathtub was perfect after a long...

The location us a little out of the centre, but this is only a 30 minutes walk, or a 5 minute walk to either of the 2 metro lines. The hotel is clean and decorated in an art deco style. We had room 5 on the ground floor, this had x2 showers and a bath, no windows, but the skylight...

We stayed here at Easter and would thoroughly recommend it. It is immaculate and very stylish. The star were very friendly and incredibly helpful. It's a lovely little hotel that is well placed to explorer the city, in a relatively quiet area. Would love to go back.

Overall I would recommend this hotel and the restaurant they recommend just around the corner is Absolutely amazing Hostaria...

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights in 2015. It was absolutely beautiful. The decor was so luxurious and felt very high class. The breakfast was reasonable every morning. Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
