Not a B&B by any standard. It's an apartment on the 5th floor which is being misleadingly advertised as a bed and breakfast with the bedrooms being rented while the owner Giorgio lives there himself. Cleanliness was less than acceptable, cheap industrial pastry and coffee was "breakfast" which we had to ask for, poor directions and had to wait 30...

first of all,i think that person did not stay here;an anonimous review could have been written by anyone that had some interesting in giving people a bad opinion of our property;anyway,in the case it was true,we want to specify as follow: the italian law about the use of apartaments as b&b,says that the owners must leave there,so there is nothing...

The owner, George, couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. The b&b is an apartment just a short walk from vatican with basic, yet spacious rooms. At the time of our visit rome was 35 degrees every day but there was a fan in each room which was a lifesaver. Be warned the breakfast is served at a cafe...

We have been travelling around Europe for a month so we really were looking for basic accommodation to explore rome, this is exactly what we got! It's in a great location from the metro and the Vatican. There's a good selection of restaurants close by and a supermarket. The wifi in the rooms is good. We were satisfied with our...

We stayed for 4 days at Salvador .The place is quite clean and very close to Vatican and touristic area. Be careful when you receive the rooms. If it's very hot in the spring/summer you must sleep with the windows open(no air-con).If you have the windows towards Via Leone street, you must be deaf not to be bothered by the cars,...

The rooms are located quite well near the Vatican. That's all. First we came there and no one opened the door. Unfortunately the owner does not speak English which made conversations pretty complicated. When we saw the first room, there was black mould all over the bathroom. Second room was not much better, but did we have a choice?! After...

Anyway, even if in the case they stayed,we find this review really exagerated! sure there were not any drops of blood(how could i have given a room with drops of blood in the bed,as like we had killed someone in the room!)...

I booked a room for the 04th of March, 2013, but soon after I decided to cancel it. As I had booked it on its own website, I had to send emails to cancel it. I tried sending 3 emails and didn´t get a single word back saying the booking was cancelled. Bought some skype credits to call Italy and...

This review it is all a lie! the only e-mail we have ever received by these guests was to confirm the reservation(sent on the 20th of february). Furthermore, they phoned us the date of the arrival,to tell us they would have been arrived at the airport at around midnight and to ask if there would have been any problems for that;we...

Excellent location, it is located on a walking distance from Vatican city. For the price, which was very cheap comparing to other places, you get the breakfast, free towels and sheets. Building is quite old, but rooms were ok, with good heating and beds were very cosy. We were in 4 beds room, so we had our privacy. Bathrooms were...

The price and location was excellent, but some of the rooms have bedbugs in mattress or on the walls behind the pictures. The owner did move us to a different room when we complained. He was very willing to help and go the extra mile despite his limited english.

Salvador B&B was great. George is really friendly and went out of his way to help us, telling us of the best places to eat and helping us with airport transportation. He also was very patient when we arrived at 1am from our flight! It is true that he doesn't speak much English, but then it is Italy! Anyway, even...
