I have decided that the reviews that are posted nowadays on tripadvisors are not always to be trusted anymore, i think you need to check what rank the persons writing the review have & then decide if you are going to accept there info... this place was horrendous, we did not get one night sleep, it was either the dustbin...

Clean hotel with a slightly crazy design, but ho cares about that when traveling on a budget? Close to Termini and the metro, easy access to sights. Good value for the money, wifi only works in the corridor though.

Very nice rooms (we booked 3), two very big and a third a good size. Shared bathroom was very clean. Owner was very nice and helpful. Very well located near termini station and not far from all of Romes attractions. Many restaurants nearby.

We chose this hotel, because of its location and we were not disappointed. We were in Rome for 4 days, and didn't take the bus once, cause we managed to get everywhere by foot from the hotel. The rooms are very clean and nice decorated. The hostess Emily is very friendly and helpful. All in all a perfect price-service quality!

This was truly great value for the money! We stayed at this bed and breakfast for 5 nights in March 2015 (price was 240 for all nights). This was one of the cheapest accommodations in Rome, and it was a very nice stay, absolutely above expectations for the money!! Location: Location was absolutely great! It was a few minutes’ walk...

This was our first trip to Italy and had never stayed in a bed and breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised. We arrived late to the hotel after midnight but Emily was there to meet us. The room is pretty big with a high ceiling. A TV with mostly Italian channels. Free WI-FI. The location is great because you can catch...

Easily the best. Perfect location since it's so close to the Termini. Around 3-5 minutes walk. This is particularly helpful if you're coming by bus/train from airports. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. Emily helped us with pretty much everything from the how-tos and the what-to-dos. We got a room for three but it was huge and very comfortable....

Emily was very welcoming, the place was immaculate and comfortable. We got vouchers to use at a local bar for breakfast whicn includes a...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
