I stayed at La Piccola Maison for 4 nights. I have been to Rome several times, in different parts of the city, and so far La Piccola Maison has been the best in terms of price, location and cleanliness. It was also very quiet for Rome. Giorgio, Giorgia and Laura were all very helpful. This is not the place to...

Myself and my husband stayed in La Piccola on the first night of our honeymoon. We only had one night in Rome so we wanted to make sure the location was good. It was perfect! It's so close to the metro station and within walking distance of many of the famous attractions such as Trevi Fountain and The Colosseum. Our...

Our family stayed in two rooms at La Piccola Maison for two nights in August. We had a lovely stay...the hotel is centrally located, rooms are clean, beds very comfortable. Giorgio and Giorgia were very kind and responsive to our needs. The only problem was that the driver they hired for us failed to meet us at the airport, and...

A faultless hotel with everything you could ask for. Beautifully clean rooms, fab location and wonderful hosts who did their utmost to help us. I can't add much more than the previous reviews except to say we couldn't have stayed in a more perfect place - if only there were a Piccola Maison in every city! Many thanks Georgio and...

We stayed for 4 nights in September. The location is excellent and the proprietors were amazing. Giorgio & Georgia make this a special place and make you feel welcome from the start. Our room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom had everything we needed. They helped us with our travel plans and made sure our taxis were there when...

We could'nt have been happier. Georgia helped us with our tours and day trips and local restruants. We loved our bed very comfy. We would stay ther again in a heartbeat.....speaking of hearbeat you do have stairs to climb to get to the hotel....that just helps with all the yummy food and gelato you eat. Staff is very helpful.... but...

This is a great "hotel" for people looking for a more "at home" feeling type of property. Giorgia greeted us and gave us some great recommendations for dinner and gelato- she was wonderfully friendly and very helpful. We loved the complimentary water and Chianti waiting for us in the room - what a wonderful surprise! The room is clean &...

We stayed here four nights during the last week in August. This is my second time in Rome and this was the best guest house I've stayed in yet. The location is perfect as it is about a 10 to 12 minute walk to both The Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Bernini's Triton fountain is also only a 2...

My husband and I stayed here the last night of our trip in Italy. It was in a perfect location (quieter than our first hotel stay on Via Nazionale). The room was very clean, well furnished, and modern. This spot offers great value for money.

We stayed at La Piccola in July at the end of a long trip through Italy. I am not a fan of Rome, but we had 2 friends with us who had never been there, so we took them to see the attractions. Found this place on Trip Advisor, and I must say it was a bonus to our trip...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
