My ideal holiday of Rome starts here! The location is unbeatable. Barberini station is just right outside. It takes us to the Coloseum and Vatican City. Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps are just 10 minutes walk away. We even venture further to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona on foot. For the brand conscious, you can go to Via Condotti for...

My family and I had a wonderful stay here over the Christmas holiday. The location is superb. It's located just off of the Piazza Barberini, within walking distance of the sites, next to a metro stop for Line A (easy to reach the Termini Station or the Vatican), and directly across the street is the catholic church of Santa Maria...

My fiancée and I stayed at La Piccola Maison for a few nights in December 2011. The location is absolutely fantastic, behind Piazza Barberini. You can reach everything on foot from there, and the subway is at your doorstep. At the time of booking, Giorgio told us they only had one small room left. It wasn't huge, but definitely bigger...

The location is hard to beat. The room is small but clean. Need to walk up many flights of stairs and on week-ends, you can hardly find anybody to ask questions. The rooms are on one floor and there are other residents living in the same building. shower is hot and water pressure is acceptable. Metro is almost outside of...

We have just come back from a girls weekend in Rome and stayed here - it was fabulous. There were 5 of us in the appartment which was quite chic and very clean. It has 2 bathrooms and whilst a couple of us were on sofa beds they were fine but perhaps not for you if you are a fussy...

We stayed here for 2 nights for a quick Rome adventure, and thought it couldn't be better. The location was ideal (walking distance to most sights and across the street from the metro), the room was small but very comfortable, and the price was a bargain for Rome. The staff was friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable....

We stayed in the mini-apartment which has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) and a simple open plan space. Ideal for us as a family of 5. It is actually on the ground floor too. += no stairs -ve = perhaps a little street noise but notihing to keep one awake. Really clean and classy design; free wi-fi. Owners really...

We stayed here for 4 days in Rome after a long flight originating in New Zealand. Georgia and Giorgio were so helpful, gave great advice and helped to organise things for us. Would definately recommend and we will stay there again.

We loved the location of this hotel - quiet street a half-block from Metro station. The room was large, as was the bathroom, clean and bed very comfy. The hotel is on the 3rd floor and the elevator was not available to us while there. We think it is for the use of the residents of the building, but not...

TripAdvisor reviews were right on for this location. Our family was extremely pleased with everything about La Piccola Maison. Our family of four, two adults and two teen children, needed the extra space and we got it. The room we stayed in had two separate bedrooms along with another bed in the seating area, a dining area with kitchen sink,...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
