The staff is great and the rooms are clean and spacious and you do have great WiFi access, for free . That is about where it ends. The windows are terrible. You hear EVERYTHING outside all night. You might as well sleep with the windows open. The only relief you have from the noise are the shutters that you can...

We are very sorry about the noise...next time it won't happen!

We had a great stay in this hotel. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The location is great just near the Via Nazionale. So you can reach the center of Rome in a few minutes. Also the metro station is quite near. The hotel room was very clean, new bathroom and quite a large room. ¨The street in...

Large new clean room and bathroom. Firm bed. Reasonably close to major sites. The only negative is its on a small side street in a building that is marked by a sign by the entrance about one foot by one foot. You must ride old small elevator to 2nd floor reception area or walk wide staircase. Otherwise we were quite...

My wife and I have traveled to many places in the world and all over Europe with Rome being a repetitive spot we keep coming back. If your expectations are for a Great Lobby with over bearing reception and a minuscule room some with even shared bathrooms this is not the place for you. But if the contrary what you...

We stayed at SuiteDreams for three nights in early October, 2011. The staff was very helpful. They provided luggage storage for us before check-in, helped us with directions and restaurant recommendations - they even made reservations for us. The room was spacious, quiet, and very clean, with a modern look. The electric shutters on the window kept out the city...

This hotel is well located and provides a simple service in clean well appointed rooms. The hotel does not provide amenities other than the rooms but this is reflected in the price. I would definitely return.

We would be happy to recommend this hotel for travelers who are after a lovely quiet hotel with friendly attentive staff. It's location close to the train station made it a perfect choice, although arriving at night made it difficult to find as it is on the first floor of a building. Overall this was a wonderful experience.

We stayed at the Suitedreams hotel because we took the recommendations from tripadvisor. The rooms are indeed spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished with a "boutique hotel" feel, well-equipped and with very comfortable beds. The staff are very friendly and helpful and even provided a car and driver to take us to the airport at the end of our stay. The breakfast...

We have just returned from an eight night stay in Rome and found the staff to be excellent. Valeria, Roma and PierFrancesco offered us excellent advice on restaurants, museums and directions which helped make our daily outings enjoyable and hassle free. The rooms are spacious and quiet and restaurants like Target, in the same building, has great service/food. Inside the...

We visited SuiteDreams while on our honeymoon and it was perfect! Going into the stay, I hadn't done much research on the hotel, but had read it had a good location and was clean, so I booked it. The good location and cleanliness turned out to be very frue, but on top of it, the staff was very nice and...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
