This is a clean, well run and great B & B. Massimo is fantastic and makes the stay even more enjoyable with his jovial and friendly nature. A word of warning this is not a hotel, it does what it says on the tin and does it well. Great location for the Vatican and walking distance to most other sites.

This is in a quieter neighbourhood, but still not far from restaurants, the metro and lots of places of interest. Very cosy, clean and comfortable, there is air con which is needed in Rome! staff were excellent.

To find the BnB is a little hard, but Massimo arranged a pick up at the airport for us, which really helped after a long flight from L.A. Breakfast are simple fair,...

My brother and I had a room her for 5 days with no problems at all. The room had a bathroom with a shower and a safe to keep your belongings. The breakfast was limited to what you got served though that wasn't a problem as it was good. (No milk and cereals). The place you eat can be a...

We stayed here in June 2016 with our 2 children aged 5 and 7. It's 5minutes walk to St peter's and an ideal location. On arrival Massimo drew us a map of the top sites to see which was excellent. He gave us lots of hints and tips and saved us a lot of money on tickets with his tips....

Had to do much research to find value for money accommodation in Rome at an excellent location - am happy to have come across Capricci Romani! We are 3 guests but booked the corner room for 4. Wonderful choice since the room had 2 large windows with good views which made the room so comfortable due to natural lighting and...

We couldn't have asked for a better B&B. The location was superb and Massimo was a fantastic host. Having given us a map and drawn on routes to take us to specific places for sight seeing/great authentic food we were all set for our stay. The B&B is literally around the corner from the Vatican. Massimo is a really friendly...

Our stay was nice. The hospitality by Massimo was home from home, he was really friendly and helpful with us, he gave us some maps and advices on what to do in Rome. The room was clean and the B&B was really close to the centre of Rome, we walked to all of the sights, no public or car transport...

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
