This is a great little camp ground. Cheap, close to the ruins, bus, train and super market. Is a little noisy (trains, traffic and infernal Itallian sirens) so ear plugs help. The staff are fantastic and helpfull. Is a little old, but very clean, excellent hot water, good shady sites, Orange trees abound. Internet available. Laundry and dish washing areas....

we planned to stay in one of the caravans for 5 nights to save money for the rest of our trip and make use of the on site restaurant as our experience of campsite restaurants in Italy before has been fantastic. unfortunately it was closed, as was the onsite bar, shop and pool! was very strange as the campsite was...

Nice sites for parking a camper under trees, bathrooms are worn and a little worse for wear but usable. Staff seem friendly enough although we didn't have much interaction with them. Wifi is absolutely terrible which was a major disadvantage for us. Also seems to be BYO toilet paper, so be warned!

We stayed at this site in June in oder to visit the ruins which are adjacent. The site is very basic, some of the pitches are small and not suitable for larger outfits. The site is like a car park during the day, but that wasn't a problem for us. There are plenty of restaurants close to the site and...

The campsite is basic but the big advantage is it's location. Just across the road from Pompeii - tip get there for 08:30 hrs - for the first 45 minutes we were on our own exploring so avoided the crowds. Within walking distance you can get the train to Ercolano (Herculanium). Opolontis (which must be visited - if you like...

We stayed here in our campervan in May, this campsite is so dated and could do with a good scrub, if it were mine i would give it the revamp it desperatley needs. Excellent location for visiting the sights but thats it .Could be so nice. Would not return.

We were walking around Pompeii looking for accommodation with internet, since we needed to prepare the next day trip. The receptionist lured us in by a promise of free Wi-Fi and confirmed that the Wi-Fi range is good on all grounds of the site. Unfortunately after checking-in we realised that out cabin had no range at all, the receptionist lied...

Just left Spartacus Camping, nothing bad to say, no pool erected, no restaurant open, but neither of those bothered us, we went there because of it's location, as we say in England, 'location location location', our Motorhome was safe whilst we explored Pompei and Herculaneum, and at €14 a night, brilliant deal, showers hot and fast flowing, no toilet paper,...

I rented a caravan at a low rate. Very convenient located the Camping has all you need to rest and explore the Pompeii area. Inside the Caravan there are 3 single beds. Very clean inside. Few tents around. Over all I can say is calm place to rest after a long day in the Ancient Pompeii.

We were traveling in a motor home and I had read some reviews b4 we arrived, but we like to make our own judgement about places. Anyway we pulled up at the front office I got out and went up to the window and the guy was the friendliest bloke we had met in 3weeks travelling in Italy , as...
