The hotel, housed in a restored noble palace dating back to the end of 1500, reinterprets with fresh design this historical building to offer a unique experience blending antiquity and contemporary use of space. The Hotel has 48 rooms and 8 apartments on 6 floors. It is only a few steps from the most interesting places: the Archaeological Museum, San Severo Chapel, Duomo Cathedral, San Gregorio Armeno, Napoli underground, Santa Chiara complex with its majolica cloister. At the entrance an astonishing court with columns and a fountain with some 18th century busts where the vault rooms of the reception and the breakfast room give onto. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The Hotel has also 2 internet points near the reception. Sometimes the hotel hosts exhibitions and installations by emerging artists.

Detailed Reviews
Our first time in a hotel in the center - we usually stay with friends. Chosen for its central location, it gave us walkable access to every place we wanted to see and visit. While the piazza has a very robust night life for the younger set that spills out into the street, you wouldn't know until you left the hotel courtyard.
Rooms were clean, spacious, and bright. We comfortably fit three people. The bathroom offered a shower that kept the floor dry despite the demands of the three of us.
We were pleased with the breakfast - both the offerings and the service.
The hotel staff was professional and efficient. I witnessed them patiently advise each guest how to navigate the city. They insisted that they take care of our bags, largely because, while the hotel has an elevator, we found later that some rooms are accessible only by stairs from the main floor due to it's 16th century origins. We got to our first floor room via the second floor (the first floor in Italy is one level above the ground floor).

We loved our stay in a two room apartment at the Hotel Piazza Bellini. Our family of five, with older & adult teenagers fitted into this two room apartment. We had a queen bed & single bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed made up as two singles in the living room. The apartment was well fitted out with a spacious bathroom and kitchenette off the living room. We could prepare our own breakfast and eat at a 4 seater table. The double glazed windows meant the rooms were quiet despite overlooking the busy Piazza Bellini. The reception staff were super helpful and we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar area. The hotel was a great location close to the Metro and we used it as a base to explore Pompei, Mt Vesuvius, Herculaneum and the Amalfi Coast. There were many small shops, cafes and restaurants nearby in Via del Tribunali, and a terrific restaurant Re Lazzarone a few minutes away. My only suggestion would be a way to open the door to the apartment building without someone running down the stairs or bothering the helpful but busy reception staff. I highly recommend the Hotel Piazza Bellini if you are looking for an apartment or hotel in Naples.

Friendly staff. Convenient location with the Dante station less than 5 minute walk, but many major attractions are very walkable. The station has escalators if you are managing luggage. Same with the hotel. I rented an apartment and it was huge. Minimalistic but functional and comfortable, and very clean. Kitchen has basics for light cooking and coffee. The AC was very strong and quickly cooled the large apartment. It’s on a very busy street but noise was barely audible with the windows closed. The bathroom was large and shower had very strong water pressure — much appreciated with long hair. And the breakfast was a much larger spread than I expected. Homemade ricotta was a highlight, along with the the delicious cappuccino. Great value — book and enjoy.

I stayed here for four nights in two separate rooms (because no one room was available for all four nights): one night in a room with a terrace, and three nights in an apartment without a terrace. Both rooms were good. Highlights of this hotel include: the professional and energetic hotel staff (especially Roberta, who was smart, friendly, and anticipated all my questions); the beautiful interior courtyard where breakfast and evening aperitivi are served; and the location, which is walkable to several tourist destinations as well as the Metro Dante station.
Regarding the neighborhood: I live in New York and found this area comparable to the West Village. It was full of students and affordable, quirky, cosmopolitan businesses that would be popular with students. Piazza Bellini becomes a big party zone especially on weekends, thanks no doubt to the 2 Euro aperol spritzes that are poured liberally. My hotel apartment's walls and windows were thick, so the nightlife noise did not bother me. Sensitive travelers might request a room overlooking the back.
I would definitely stay here again. I really liked Naples and would love to revisit this vibrant, lively city.

We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights, and we had a wonderful time!
We started the week in a terrace room with a great view, the room was very clean.
We book it directly from the hotel site and received a local pasta and a bottle of wine.
After a few days they upgraded us to another room, one of the apartments in the other side of the hotel, the apartment was big and had a great kitchen with all the utilities, also a roof terrace with 360° view of all Naples. We couldn't ask for more!
The breakfast was great, fresh vegetables, a verity of cheeses and sweet deserts.
The staff was very helpful, there was always someone in the reception and everyone was very welcoming. They helped us with tour bookings and general information/recommendations.
The location was perfect, in the historical center near a lot of places to go out at night and very close to the archeological museum and Dante square.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and come back and book the apartment! :)

We stayed here as a group of 3 in a triple room. The room was clean and spacious and had an en-suite shower room. It was well appointed with a room safe, tv, small fridge stocked with a few drinks and snacks and small kettle in the room as well as complimentary toiletries and slippers in the bathroom. The hotel is in the heart of the old quarter of Naples and was a short 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. We were able to ring the hotel from the arrivals area at the airport to arrange the taxi for a fixed price of €19.50. Check in was easy and the reception staff could not have been more helpful with all our requests and questions. The room was equipped with soundproof windows etc so was very quiet with the windows closed. Our room had a view over the quaint courtyard. Breakfast was a continental buffet style but there was plenty of choice from omelette and sausage, pastries, fresh fruit, meats and cheese. There were also bread rolls or bread for toasting and cereals along with fruit juices and coffee or tea.
The hotel was really central to most things we wanted to see such as the archeological museum of Naples which was literally at the end of the road, the statue of the veiled Christ and Christmas alley. All were within easy walking distance.
To reach Mt. Vesuvius and Pompeii required a metro ride and train ride but was easy enough to navigate and the instructions provided by the hotel were easy to follow without any problem.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel for its vibrant location amongst the bars and restaurants, access to attractions and fantastic staff. It deserves more than 3 stars!

My hustband and I decided kind of last minute to take a vacation to Italy this year during our holiday break. I found Hotel PIazza Beliini thru trip advisor. We've always had very good luck with trip advisor recommendations, and this one was great as well. The staff were terrific, especially Christianna, she emailed information to us in the few weeks before our trip, advised us on tours and restaurants, and we had the best vacation we've had in a long time. The location of PIazza Bellini is perfect if you want to be able to immerse yourself in Naples. Very close to several museums, and shops. In fact we were able to walk to every thing we wanted to see within Naples historic areas. The front desk staff were great at arranging transportation for tours, and all were terrific.

My family had a wonderful stay at Hotel Piazza Bellini. As a family of 5 we had two rooms, one with a queen sized bed, the other room which was configured with a bed in a loft space up some stairs (with a very comfortable sofa bed to sleep on downstairs). The rooms opened onto a balcony which overlooked the main street with beautiful tall doors and curtains. The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style with a vast mix of continental and traditional pastries, with the option of sitting downstairs in the courtyard. The staff were very friendly, spoke english and assisted with us getting our transport to Positano. Can not recommend this hotel highly enough!

Stayed here for 4 nights in September 2021 and found it to be an excellent hotel. My hotel (Room 608) was large and very clean. The bathroom was also a good size. I also had a balcony which gave great views of the city and the bay.
Although Piazza Bellini is a vey busy and lively spot especially in the evening time, the hotel is very quite and there are 2 security doors (one of them only shuts at 10pm and reopen in the morning time) between the hotel and main street.
The hotel staff are very helpful and will organise taxis or even tours to the likes of Pompeii for you if you ask them
The location is perfect, the old city center and the main via Toledo road are right beside the hotel. The Archeological museum is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
My only one very small negative was the breakfast. It was adequate but nothing special.
If I am ever back in Naples I would stay here again.

We booked Hotel Piazza Bellini & Apartments for a 3-night family stay. Our priority is to have accommodation that is close to the meeting points for our pre-booked day tours – Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius and City Centre Walking with Underground but most importantly, a place where we can have a decent night’s sleep to start our busy day afresh. Hotel Piazza Bellini & Apartments met our requirements. The hotel atmosphere has a cool and refreshing ambience feel. We were welcomed upon arrival by Erika and Vincenzo – amazing, friendly and super-efficient duo team. Check in was smooth and efficient. We were given the old style keys (not electronic cards) to our room and we were instructed to hand the key at reception desk when leaving the hotel – different but it works for me, no need to worry about losing the keys while out and about. Erika told us that our pre-paid buffet breakfast is outside in the courtyard on your left and the bar on your right – buffet breakfast starts at 7.30am. Elevator access to our floor. Our rooms did indeed have that modern artistic vibrant flair – the rooms were very clean, has all the necessities you need (body wash / shampoo, coffee/tea condiments, air con, tele and the necessary appliances), to make your stay comfortable and we also had a balcony. The bathroom was of standard size, enough space to put your toiletry bag on the basin with a standalone shower. The hotel also has a communal lounge room equipped with books to read. This hotel is definitely a short walking distance to town. Buffet breakfast is your typical standard buffet breakfast but was delicious with fresh produce, served in their vibrant, spacious courtyard and it’s also nice and peaceful – perfect start to our day. Don’t worry, if it’s a rainy day, the courtyard is well protected by their clear canopy. They have an array of all sorts but we were super excited when we saw Sfogliatelle cakes amongst the sweets selection. We were told that it originated from Naples. Sfogliatelle did not disappoint, nice and crispy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside… yummm. I have tasted Sfogliatelle in Australia and it doesn’t come close to the original. Erika and Vincenzo are very accommodating, we arranged taxi through them, as it is charged a flat rate – trust me, if you arrange for a taxi yourself, it’s triple the price. They have a good system going, they call for taxi service, in exchange, they are given a code and when the taxi arrives, they will only take customers with the matching code given over the phone – no fighting over taxis, pretty neat, eh? The bed and pillows were firm and comfortable – we had a decent sleep and that’s all that really mattered. If I have to fault anything, it’s the shower, it has a glass wall but no doors to close the shower in - it’s opened and the water flows out a bit. But every time we return from our day out, we return to very clean rooms. I highly recommend this hotel and it’s a bonus that it is located in prime location. Should I return to Naples again, Hotel Piazza Bellini & Apartments will definitely be my first.

Hi Molly, we booked an apartment for four. It was a double storey, the double bed upstairs and downstairs, we had two single beds, a proper bed and right beside it, was a roll out.
Hopefully this helps you out.
Hi, we called the hotel once we were through security. The hotel arranged a taxi and provided us with the taxi number so we knew which taxi was ours. It arrived within minutes, really easy

I do not believe that they do. I would email the hotel and ask them where to park. They are very responsive, and will get back to you right away. Since this hotel is in the city center, having a parking lot would be very rare. There is not room for one.
