First you travel down a gritty rambling cobblestoned Neapolitan street not far from Piazza Dante, dodging the occasional scooter and car and you see the sign for Hotel Correra 241. If the gate is open, you go into a courtyard and see the hallway that takes you up into an large area open to the sky and steps into the glassed in lobby. This is a neat hotel located on a side street near the Archeological Museum and the historic center. Art abounds, and the decor of the rooms and common spaces reflect that. Had a great stay here, its a great base when you're in Naples with short walks to the major tourist cites in the old town and connections to the train station. Staff is helpful, friendly and accommodating, breakfast was tasty and filling. Be warned that some of the rooms have stairs that take you up to the bathrooms, which you might not be prepared for. Think of it as good preparation for your visit to Positano and the Amalfi Coast. I'd stay here again in a minute. A great base for your exploration of Naples.…
Beautiful and very polite staff. There was nothing we asked for and someone didn't help us. Amazing people! The room was comfortable, beautifully decorated , clean and the breakfast was very tasty with excellent coffee! Final the location of the hotel is very close to the metro station and in the heart of the city. Definetely I would stay there again.
We wanted to be close to the Archaeological Museum and this hotel is ideally sited for that. Even better was the great staff, comfortable room and quiet (unbelievable for this central location) room. The staff was flexible and helped us make changes in our stay and gave us great advice on day trips. The breakfast was excellent (no eggs but marvelous cakes and pastry). I loved that some of the hallways back up onto the portions of the original Roman-era tufa walls of the aqueduct (you can even see the manhole!). The overall location is terrific, steps from Piazza Dante, the bookstalls and subway. The rooms were simple but modern and thoughtfully designed.
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Correra. It is such a beautiful hotel, unique and charming. The staff are so friendly and helpful and very kind. The location is perfect and couldn’t be a better base for exploring Napoli. We had heard a lot of negative things about Napoli and after visiting we couldn’t disagree more strongly. It is a fabulous city that we fell in love with!! We will be recommending Hotel Correra and Napoli to all our family and friends in Ireland and we can’t wait to go back. Big thank you to Hotel Correra for everything.
We stayed here as a family of two adults and two teenagers. It is a really nice place, nice room that fitted us all and breakfast was brilliant. Ramona on the desk was very friendly and helpful. Exceptionally good value and great location. We will stay here again. Thank you
Hotel is located near the Dante metro (about 5 stops from the main Garibaldi station), in a small street off the main road. Napoli is generally a bustling city, but the room was very quiet, enabling good sleep. This is also near the historic center. Breakfast was buffet style (mainly) with a decent spread. You can order coffee from the lady (Roberta) who was working hard in the breakfast area. Interactions was the staff were mostly good, although a couple felt a bit distant. I would stay here again if I were to return to Napoli.
Hotel is a very good starting Point to every Location of Naples. Near top Dante Metro Station, taxies, busses. Hotel Team ist great. Helped us for any kind of requests we had at day or night. Full recommendation.
Excellent location in the historic centre of Naples, just a few minutes walk from Dante Square and metro station, via dei tribunal and all its restaurants, via toledo and its shops and working a half hour walk from anywhere you'd want to visit. The hotel itself is tucked up a wee side street and is a gem. It's bright, modern, spacious and full of great staff. Our room was so big, we had a bed and a couch, tea making facilities, a wee outdoor seating area to ourselves and a very powerful shower. There's also a communal outdoor seating area, indoor areas with seats, books, boardgames and all nicely decorated. Breakfast was fantastic as were the staff on duty. There was plenty choice, meats, cheese, bread, fruit, cereal, salad, spreads, rustic pizza and the most amazing pastries. Plenty coffee and special coffees made to order. The hotel is very handy for public transport to airport and Pompeii or amalfi coast. Metro is across the road and five stops takes you to main train station at Piazza Garibaldi which is where the Alibus runs every 15 minutes to airport. As we were arriving late at night we booked the airport transfer provided by the hotel, this was a bit expensive as there is a surcharge after 9pm. We didn't fancy the taxi or hunting for bus stop in the dark so bit the bullet and went with the car. The driver wasn't there when we arrived but after contacting the hotel Marco turned up and had us at the hotel door in no time, in comfort, I'm glad he was joking about the VW Polo he initially led us to. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Brilliant location, staff and comfort. Loved it. …
Location: good for reaching the historic center. However a bit hard to find for airport taxis (which for some reason don't use a gps) and also looking a big scary due to the piles of garbage (which are a general city problem). Taxi from / to the airport is standard 22 EUR (no matter what the meter is showing), but if you get into traffic jams (and there's a good chance you will) it jumps to 28EUR. However it's the best option in terms of time, hustle, comfort, etc. Reception: speaks English, which is a wow factor in Italian hotels. Also friendly and helpful! Breakfast: too many sweets!! Some might say that's good, but I can't eat just sweets in the morning. There were only a few fruits and some salami. Room: spacey but cold. The only heat source is the A/C, but since the room is pretty tall it doesn't help that much. Also the bathroom doesn't have ventilation or window. Basic toiletries were offered. Towels were staying damp since you can't dry them properly. Tea and coffee are provided in the room, you have a hairdryer, a minibar with overpriced drinks (as everywhere else in the world) and a TV listing mostly Italian channels.…
