Stayed in December for two quick overnight stopovers and everything was what you would expect from an Ibis - clean, comfortable and welcoming. All basic necessities were provided and a reasonable buffet breakfast was served for a modest additional charge. It's not situated in the best of town but it's very convenient for the train and bus stations. Overall very good value.

We had a good stay here. The rooms are well isolated, so that you don't hear the railway passing the building. The location is good, nearby the main station and not far from the city center. You can walk or take the metro everywhere. Due to the location there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The room has been modern, comfortable and clean, the bathroom could use some modernization but it was clean as well. The staff has been really friendly throughout our stay. Drinks at the bar, where you can also get food, are quite expensive. 4€ for a coffee and 5€ for a beer. You can get this for half of this or less in the surrounding bars and cafes.

My wife and I stayed here for a 4 night break in September, and the hotel seemed ideally located, close to the railway station and just a step away from the popular Piazza Garibaldi.
On arrival we were surprised at the run-down appearance of some of the surrounding properties, but the hotel itself was very good indeed. The room was spotlessly clean and well equipped, and the and the staff were almost universally friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were simple cold-buffets, but were well prepared and maintained, and could be eaten indoors on on an outside terrace.
Given the proximity of the hotel to the railway, we were particularly impressed with the quality of the soundproofing, and our sleep was completely undisturbed throughout our stay.
Our only frustration was with the lady who acted as the night receptionist for a couple of nights during our stay, who seemed too burdened with her other duties rather than be a welcoming presence for returning guests!

Just stay for 1 night for our flight. Near the trainstation. Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking the trainrails. You can hear and feel the trains running but think at night there were no noise. Either we were very tired and oversleeped the noise and the vibration. Or the trains stop running at night. Car can be parked at carparking nearby. It’s a valet service for €23 per 24 hours for a small car. Otherwise if you want to take the risk you can park on street for €1,50 the first hour and €2 for the subsequent hours between 8:00-20:00 hours. Breakfast buffet is not allowed due to covid, you can choose what you want and have breakfast at the place.

Postivies first
nice friendly staff
good location for trains to Pompeii and Herculaneum, however not the best location for visiting Naples itself
cheap basic breakfast but it was adequate
Noise from trains was more vibration than noise so did not put us off too much
I do understand its an ibis styles so basic amenities but no fridge in room, no ice machine, no vending machine, no board games etc
negatives
bed very uncomfortable, can't stress this enough. it was very thin lumpy mattress and the bed was SOO noisy every time you moved, this led to no sleep for all 4 of us in two rooms for the 3 nights. Worst bed was room 204. I complained at checkout and was given a bottle of water as compensation lol...I laughed when I was given it, at least it was chilled.....
Aircon in our room had spells of very noisy or pretty quiet, no rhyme or reason for the noise but it seemed to happen at the most inopportune times, like 7am when you wanted to sleep. we switched it off and back on and that seemed to do the trick.
Lack of sleep was the main complaint here or I would have given 3 stars

Nice and wonderful trip. Lovely stay. we called the hotel and Ms.Valentina staff answered the call because we requested baby crib, when we arrived the crib was put and kept ready for the baby to sleep.
Room was small and congested. Breakfast selection was not good.
They should have kept a rose on the valentines day to their guest but nothing.
Near to the hotel good shopping places and near by Hop on Hop off bus avlb. Indian, Arabic and the local cuisine avbl.
But mostly my two year old boy loved pizza and pasta so we enjoyed.
Wonderful and memorable trip to Italy.

We stayed here for four nights and were very happy with our comfortable quiet room on the top floor. The hotel felt like a bit of a calm oasis after the manic streets of Naples and had an excellent selection of continental breakfast options which we ate on the nice terrace. Excellently located close to Garibaldi station where the airport bus drops you off and also with easy access to both metro lines. Lots of restaurants nearby. Really convenient for Porta Nolana for Pompeii and Herculaneum. Make sure you buy the Campania Artecard, which gives free transport and two free site admissions with discounts thereafter. All in all we were very happy with our choice, thank you Ibis.

Overall I would say the hotel is average for Europe. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station or to get a taxi. You can take a taxi from the train station to the port to go to Capri, Procida or Ischia in 10-14 minutes. There are plenty of cafes within 5 minutes as well as laundry service within 3 minutes walk. The hotel offers breakfast, but we didn’t get it. The rooms are good size and has a bigger shower for Europe standards. My biggest complaints about the room are the bed and the proximity to the train station. The reviews that said you could not hear the train when it comes by must sleep better than I. Not only can you hear the trains go by, but they shake your bed. The bed is the hardest bed I have ever slept on and to boot you get the smallest pillow to lay on. I realize most reviews only stayed one night. We stayed 5 nights and with this bed, made for some really bad sleep. You may be thinking you are getting a good deal, but won’t pay off when you can’t sleep.

I booked a triple room even though I was alone because I didn't want my room to be tiny. for me as a solo traveler the room size was O.K. but I'm not sure how 3 people could feel in this room which is not generous size.

the position is perfectly fine, about 3 minutes walk from the Alibus stop and the main train station. also porta nolana can be reached easily by foot from the hotel.
the breakfast was reasonable, typical continental breakfast in a 3 stars hotel in Europa.

the Wifi speed was fast and the signal quite strong. The heating in the room worked well. some drawbacks: no electric kettle in the room and no minibar. I recommend to bring a small electric kittle from home if you go there. only one standard european socket in the room, the rest can be used only for thin plugs.
all in all my stay was ok, taking in account the drawbacks mentioned above.

The hotel is located near the train station but we could not hear the noise of the train, it was very quiet. The staff is very nice, and speaks French. The rooms are spacious. The price is very gentle. Breakfast is quite good and can be served outside. There is a patio behind the hotel which is very pleasant, we enjoyed a spritz, it was very nice.

I would call the hotel for parking. For driving try google maps.

No shuttle bus - it's walkable in five minutes - ten with luggage. Cross the main road outside the station keep to the left hand side of the piazza find the approach road to the hotel on the left hand side - the hotel can be seen at the end of a cul-de-sac. Taxis can reach the hotel without difficulty but don't know how much they would charge.
