Right location in Naples, good area, close to good restaurants and harbour for evening walks. The hotel was Close to transport links and enabled us to get around the city easily. Hotel is basic but good for a base to go out from.

We stayed at the Hotel Rex for a week in early July 2011 - what a friendly place it is. Right from the initial booking stage they were helpful and welcoming. I can be very picky with where I stay so am a nightmare of a guest but they dealt with my questions quickly and always in a friendly manner.......

Room was clean, quite, nice to work (preparing talks, checking documents), good bed, hotel personal are friendly. Dinners are standard continental: not so...

Hotel Rex is in a great location 1 block from the water. It's a boutique hotel that's been nicely renovated and is a very comfortable place to stay. The common areas provide a nice place for breakfast, reading, writing, or working on the complimentary computers. Alberto and his staff are always helpful and made good suggestions for restaurants, transportation, and...

This hotel was very clean and comfortable, with renewed rooms. Breakfast was good as well. The location is convenient, close to the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Not so far from the airport shuttle stop (Piazza del Municipio, 15 mins by walk) and ferry terminal (Molo Beverello, 15 mins by walk too). The city center is at walking distance as well....

I found the hotel to be at the two star level at best. The rooms were very dusty and the bathrooms horrid. The water temperature kept going from extremely hot to cold. There were virtually no bathroom amenities. The bar of soap was more like a small square wafer of soap that could barely work to wash your hands with....

We loved the location right so close to the water! The room was neat and comfortable and the breakfast was good, too. The staff was so helpful in helping us to arrange an early morning taxi (4:30am) to the airport to catch our flight. They also gave great restaurant recommendations! Definitely a great value for the price!
