First time in Napoli, so not sure what to expect. The hotel didn't look too impressive from the outside, but inside it was very good. Located on the 4th floor of an old building (there is a lift!), there was a friendly welcome at reception. Staff were excellent throughout my 4-night stay. The room was good. Very clean, and comfortable bed. Very good location close to the historic centre, and for venturing further afield, the metro was about 200 metres away. And 2 stops on the metro from the central station. Places to eat nearby. If I return to Naples, I will happily stay here again. A reasonable price too!

We were unsure what to expect based on previous reviews but were happy with the hotel. You enter via a little green door & go up 4 floors. We had 2 rooms, one was more modern that the other but both clean & functional. We liked the roof terrace. Breakfast was poor, skip this & go out. Staff friendly except the miserable man who works nights.

The hotel is super centrally located in the old city centre an is 2 stops by subway away from the central train station. The airport bus stops about 8min walk away. Though the building does not look modern or presentable from the outside, the hotel which situated on the 4th floor is completely renovated and has a modern interior. The electric appliances (aircon, rainbow light in shower, kettle, hairdryer) were all working perfectly. The room's design was modernand stylish. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful as well as multilingual. I really enjoyed staying here!

Must be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Thank goodness it was for one night only. No wardrobe space so small and cramped. Pillows like bricks but worst of all no lift. There is no entrance you open a small tiny door and step into a passage with a huge flight of stairs no lift until you walk up two flights. The lift is so small it can only take small luggage with one person. We thought it was a joke from start to finish. Nice bathroom fittings but not enough room to swing a cat. Best part and only saving point is the location walking distance from everywhere. We had a big hire car the guy literally ripped the car keys out of our hands and told us he would park it for us into what looked like a cubby hole of a garage. Charged us 30 euros for one night. Next morning the car was parked in the street in front of the hotel which would have been free of charge. We were ripped off but the car parking is not part of the hotel so beware. We did not bother with breakfast we got out as soon as we could. But it was cheap so can't complain but be warned there is no luxury at this hotel just the location. Not keen on Naples too crowded too noisy will not stay again best to get to Sorrento asap.

This is quite cheap for Naples and it feels it. The reception is 24 hrs which helps if you are landing late, the service is effective if not effusive. The room is functional and clean, the bed was soft, the pillow quite thick. The Power points wanted thin pins on our plugs, other than one- so we struggled to charge things. The bathroom was clean but basic, the odd cracked tile, bit of hard to shift black mould on the shower rims. The shower head wasn’t user friendly and the water temperature was erratic. Hair dryer was dreadful. There is a lift to the hotel on the 4th floor but it isn’t large and one that some people may not like. Still stairs to reach the lift, not wheelchair friendly or even infirm friendly at all

Booked this hotel for an 8 hour overnight layover in naples for my family of 4. Exceeded expectations. Clean, central, easy access to the port. We didn't buy breakfast, but there was a lovely rooftop terrace for morning coffee. Would recommend.

The room was nice and clean - small but did not expect anything else. The hotel is on 4th floor, and is a hard to find at first, but once you find it its all good. Helpful and nice staff. Location was good for the price!

A hidden Gem in Napoli. It’s not a luxury product and they don’t pretend to be something they are not . A great hotel to stay in with happy nice people working there. Don’t leet it scare you away when you arrive just ring on the door bell and take the elevator up to 4 floor . The hotel are on the 4 and 5 floor . It’s a nice breakfast lounge with access to a roof terrace that we really enjoyed , We was 15 people who stayed in Napoli 5 days and we enjoyed the hotel as it was near everything we wanted to se . The rooms and beds !!! Are amazing actually the best beds we had in Italy during our stay . The bathrooms are new modern and fancy . Good bed linen . Friendly staff that helped us with what we need . You can buy wine and beer and some snacks in the reception and bring up to the roof terrace and that spot we loved . The negative thing is that I really wish the bar on the breakfast lounge was open like from 5 pm to 9 pm . Would for us been a big pluss. Would we stay there again ? Yes we would all 15 of us . Thanks for all the help and polite nice staff

I traveled with a friend. We arrived at 3 am. because our flight got delayed. We pre-ordered a room with 2 separate beds, and when we arrived we discovered there was no such room available. As the hour was horrible, we didn't argue and accepted the rooms with a single bed. It's worth pointing out that the receptionist didn't talk English at all and this whole thing took a lot of time to figure out, again, at 3 am. However, in the next day arrived another receptionist who actually could speak English, and she made sure we get a room with two separate beds. The room had an air conditioner, but that was about its' only plus. The view from the window was horrible, there was no mini-bar and the shower was awful. The water stream was low and the canal for water to flow to was mostly blocked, thus forcing us to be very flexible and tolerant. The room service was good, the room got cleaned well every day. The breakfast was served every day in flexible times, meaning feel free to arrive at 7:30 am (earliest) or 10 am and both are fine. It was ok, nothing great, but not bad, with a pretty poor variety but a pretty good quality. Besides the malfunctions, the hotel is placed in a great area, very close to the center and the sites interested for tourists, about 15 min walk from the port and fairly close to good restaurants. Maybe it's just us who had a bad experience there, but all in all, I wouldn't return there again.

Response from Raffaele_Dee, Direttore at Hotel Nettuno
Responded 23 Sept 2019
Grazie

We stayed at the hotel for a night before going off to the Amalfi Coast so only needed somewhere to lay our heads. The hotel is on the fourth floor of an old building in a back street not far from the historic centre of Naples and is handy for bars and restaurants. Some of the staff spoke some English which was nice but we tried to communicate in Italian as much as we could and it was appreciated. The twin room that my daughter and I shared was basic but adequate. Both the bedroom and en suite bathroom were clean and had everything we needed. The view wasn't up to much and the window was the only air conditioning. The room was reasonably cool so it didn't matter. We did find the room to be noisy from the nearby buildings and corridor traffic but it may not be like that all the time. If you want a no frills hotel, this is the place for you.
