I highly recommend staying in the Grand Hotel Europa: central location, (very close to the station) optimal for visiting the center of Naples and surroundings; delicious food and breakfast offering abundant typical desserts and local meals really very good; very courteous and helpful staff. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and cozy. I really enjoyed the fact that you could leave your bags safe and that the rooms had cleaned them every day. Definitely will return to stay at this hotel on my next trip to Naples.

The hotel is located a few hundred meters from the central station and the metro. Right in front there is a garage that allows you to leave your car with complete peace of mind, pick it up when you leave and take advantage of the city's mobility. The hotel lobby is not very large, as are the other common areas, but well maintained and with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The reception staff welcomes you with professionalism and affability, ready to solve any problems and give you the right information about the city. The rooms are not very large and may appear a little bare at first glance, but they are equipped with all the necessary comforts and, above all, Both the rooms and the bathroom are always perfectly clean. Both the mattress and the double pillows are good, and this is no small feat. The breakfast served includes both savory and sweet offerings, the latter could be improved in terms of variety, but is certainly considered more than sufficient. I didn't use the restaurant on "normal" days, but I took part in the New Year's Eve dinner which was excellent both for the gastronomic offer (compliments to the Chef) and for the atmosphere created.
To keep in mind for future stays.

We stayed at this hotel with a group of disabled users I wanted to point out the marked sensitivity of the staff, particularly in the people of Gennaro , Giuseppe and Salvatore , in the availability of all the staff in meeting the needs of the group I also wanted to emphasize the cleanliness of the rooms , the comfort of the beds , the quality . variety of food, and the convenience of the location very close to the station , the subway and about 20 'min walk from the center.
The only drawback a bit difficult to go out in the evening

The location is convenient if you want to be near the train station, however, it is a noisy and smelly area. The hotel shower had hair in it, when we brought it to staff attention, they told us it was our own hair. It could not have been, I do not have long black hair. The room was very large, the safe for our valuables never worked and was never looked at after bringing it to their attention. Be aware that the no frills room also does not have a mini fridge. We paid extra for the breakfast, the coffee was extremely disappointing, always cold in spite of the fact that they made the coffee from a machine before our eyes. They also served hot dogs for breakfast and called it chicken.

Dear Guest, thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations and have shared your feedback with our team. We invite you to contact our customer service especially because we do not agree with your issues (as we anticipated you during your staying) and we would like to discuss your experience in more detail. As for the breakfast, we do not serve hot dogs but plain chicken wurstles; as for our espresso, here in Italy is totally normal to use a coffee machine (the moka style coffee is usually made at home and not in the local restaurants because it implies the usage of fire!). Best regards, Grand Hotel Europa

The hotel is located about five minutes from the central train station and is therefore a very good starting point. The alibus to and from the airport also stops there. So you don't have to walk very far with your luggage. The Centro Storico is within walking distance, but you can also take the metro.
The rooms are clean and tidy, the staff very nice and the breakfast was also fine. Despite the central location you hear almost nothing of the street noise, however the rooms are very noisy and you can hear the other guests on the stairs and in the hallway. Otherwise you can't complain.

The hotel is clean and friendly, it's position near the railway station is ideal for trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum, oplonti and Sorrento although the train does get crowded and often breaks down.
People mention the homeless and litter, look beyond and don't be intimidated as Naples has lots to offer, plenty of sight seeing, churches, castles, the underground tunnels, market and shopping not forgetting restaurants.

We found the hotel a great place to stay staff were friendly and helpful, the room was kept clean and fresh towels each day.
The shower water pressure really good.
Air conditioning good, couldn't find a TV station in English.

We had meals in the bar served by Giovanni who was great, very helpful and very busy and asset to the hotel.
There is a restaurant on site but there is a charge added of 5,Euro to the cost of the meal, so due to this we chose not to use it, as a guest this either should be in the price or rather not at all.
Breakfast was semi self service, the main part of it you made the choice of what you wanted and it was put on the plate by a waiter, plenty of things to choose from to set you up for the day

On the negative side the safe in our room was very small and the key bezel came out of the lock in one piece, thus we chose not to use it.
No USB sockets ,and the bathroom door at the bottom in need of repair.

Our stay at the hotel was good and enjoyable from our window we could watch Naples everyday life.
We would use this hotel again in the future.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Europa in December with the family, and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The hotel is right in front of Naples Central Station, so super convenient for those traveling with a small girl.

The rooms were spacious and very clean, we had the opportunity to have the cot in the room. At dinner we ate very well, with tasty and well-kept dishes, but the real strength for us was the breakfast, very plentiful, with many options for all tastes (even for the little ones).

Another positive note is the common areas. There are sitting areas where you can stop and there is also a bar to have a coffee or an aperitif.

All the staff were wonderful: always smiling, helpful and ready to help us at all times. They made us feel really welcomed. We will definitely be back.

The Grand Hotel Europa is truly a gem in the heart of Naples! The location is simply impeccable: it is just a short walk from the center, making it easy to explore all the wonders of the city. It is well connected by public transport, including the Alibus and taxi stops, so you will never have difficulty getting around.
One of the highlights of this hotel is the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home.
Also, I can not forget the aperitif shows they prepare! They are a real must try, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
Ultimately, I highly recommend the Grand Hotel Europa for those looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Naples.

Among the many locations I stayed in Naples this is really special!
When you have the responsibility of young students on tour in Naples it is vital that the hotel has specific characteristics, fundamental to the success of the project.
The location, central, within easy reach of the metro, in a well-lit and central street; common rooms and elegant rooms, modern, welcoming, attention to detail , a healthy, typical, varied and above all tasty cuisine, very good, and people... people make the difference.
The warm welcome, the attention to everyone’s needs, the care in relationships are everything both when you travel alone, and when you have the responsibility of young students... good!

This is a lovely 3 star hotel that is very well positioned as a base to explore Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri and the Amalfi Coast. It's a couple of minutes from Naples Garibaldi train station, from where you can travel to virtually anywhere in Italy. A short walk away, near the train station, there are lots of decent restaurants and bars.

Internally the hotel is beautiful, with a traditional interior and classic features. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. The breakfast is good, with cereals, pastries and traditional cooked options.

People have commented on the immediate location of the hotel and like a lot of Naples, it is a bit run down. Don't less this put you off though, we saw no problems.
