Having originally looked around on bookings.com for a hotel, this particular place seemed to have high ratings. The pictures obviously showed a nice room with a balcony style view etc hence booked the room. A mistake I guess, but you learn having explored the wonderful beautiful city of Naples. The main positive is that the location is good as it... More

This is a cool little place...right at Piazza Nicola Amore on the main Corso Umberto. Short walking distance to Napoli Centrale and to the piers to catch a ferry to Capri. The B&B itself was very nice. We had a private bathroom and the decor was modern even though the building itself is quite antique and interesting. There is Italian... More

I have used ‘low cost’ European hotels often over the years. I read the reviews and make the best of it, typically without complaint. This one, I have to make a comment. My positives were that the hairdryer was new – great! I like large thin towels and that is what they had and yes, they did change them every... More

This was my first B&B kind of residence ever, so I was a bit cautious about the decision. We arrived there by a 20' walk on foot from the Garibaldi central station (by train from Rome), so If you don't want to mess around with the local transportation and taxis, it's a short walk. We find the Residenza quite easy... More

I will say that when we found Residenza Nicola Amore, we were not very excited. We knew that the place was cheap and had some good reviews, but we figured those good reviews must only be because of the price. We stayed there for two separate nights. The pictures definitely look better than the rooms in real life. The rooms... More

Something between a hotel and rent apartment. A few clean an fair equipped rooms on the first floor of historical building in a good neighbourhood. The owner is from 8 am till 6 pm, then you're on your own, which is not a problem (you've got the keys). The biggest advantage is the location - close to railway station, but... More

This nasty accomodation is completely unprofessional. They double charged us for our booking - taking cash and then charging my credit card that we reserved the room with. They never replied to my emails and when I made the international call they faked not speaking english and said the manager would ring - which he never did. I had to... More

This place is disgusting! I saw two reviews said they had bed bugs but thought it might be fine- I so regret that!! I could see this place wasn't clean when we first walked in but the two beds had a couple dots on the sheet and when we lifted the mattress we could see them crawling!!!! I've never been... More

The hotel is located halfway between the Train Station (Piazza Garibaldi) and Port Beverello, near the old city center. The rooms are clean and the towels are changed daily. The rooms are a little noisy because of traffic. Very friendly staff!!! ...so, a very good place to stay in Napoli

14 - 19 May, 2013 A great little hotel and good value for money. It is well situated in the centre of Naples on one of the main shopping streets but noise not a problem due to very efficient double glazed windows. Nearly all the attractions were within walking distance except, of course, Pompeii and Vesuvius. Washing facilities etc well... More
