I'll admit that as I turned the corner of Via Bologna, my feet felt rooted to the ground and I seriously considered spending the night in Napoli Centrale; however, in contrast to the surrounding street's rough-looking crowd, the hotel's concierge, Daniel, was very helpful and hospitable. He answered my many questions, unlocked the hotel's security gate for me after my...

Ended up staying in this hotel by circumstances but was a lucky break as the staff were very friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to give us information and directions. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Special mention to Daniel and Luca who were very helpful which helped to make our stay here a good experience after...

I was there 4 nights. Its location is next to the grocery, subway and railway station that's good for the travelers. A little bit expensive. The paid elevator, the simple breakfast, but the woman serving it is so enjoyable; friendly and welcoming receiptionists, who speak english and french are also is an advantage.

If you're looking for a cheap place to stay, fantastically located in the middle of Naples then this is for you. Local transport is a stones throw away as is the Napoli Central train station.Rooms were cleaned every day to a satisfactory standard and all basic essentials were provided by the hotel. The staff are extremely welcoming and spoke surprisingly...

Got massively ripped off by the price, they charged €40 more than advertised. Lights turned off when you plug stuff in Place smelt of stale smoke Sheets and towels smelt musty and dirty Place was cold and just rough. It is a crime to charge €180 for this place. Unfortunately we were in situation where all hotels in florence were...

Firstly, when you phone a hotel and the add £40 to the nights stay as there is 'demand' Then, oh. The area. Rough, I'd feel safer in a prison. The lift, to get to the floor of the hotel. That'll cost you! The reception, not nice. And the room, it looks the same, and I fear the same bedding since...

This hotel has an excellent location if you want to be close to the train station or the bus terminal. But it's also in an area and street with African immigrant hustlers, which at night leave their spots to prostitutes... If you cannot live with this in front of your door, you'd better look for somewhere else. Unlike most other...

No-one would ever say the Iris is the Ritz of Naples, but at less than seventy dollars a night it's definitely one of the best value hotels in the area. The staff are friendly and helpful and most of the key amenities are functional. The location is as central as you can get - two or three minutes walk from...

Unfortunately When we arrived at this "old fashioned" establishment the lift was not working.. But the manager did assure me he was "looking into it"... and would of given us a hand dragging our heavy luggage up 4 flights of stairs, if it wasnt for an old back problem he suffered.. Although the rooms were somewhat dated and small, they...

“We had a room which had a window to the back yard direction, it was quiet and a room (number 33?) was very nice.”

“The backside is definitely more quiet than the front (although this street has no traffic).”

“Well lets see..... The front rooms overlook the main street, so youll be able look down on all the illegal kenyan immigrants selling there knock off handbags and if your really lucky youll witness a police raid as they seek out the Drug dealers amongst them.. If you pick the back rooms youll have a great view of the rear alley showing you a fantastic array of disgarded rubbish and dead pigeons.. Personally id go for the rear rooms as they tend to be quieter..”
