I have just returned to Los Angeles from Napoli, I stayed at this hotel for 6 days, my stay here was fantastic, the staff was world class , the front desk staff was extremely helpful in helping me navigate through Napoli was it was my first time in the large city. Alessandra who is in charge of the breakfast was great and very attentive to our needs, I rate my experience here 5 stars and the hotel is also very well known and highly respected throughout town.
I booked directly through the hotel website as I always try to do. My trip had to be cancelled due to a family emergency. Their cancellation policy is you can cancel for a full refund as stated on THEIR POLICY: “No cancellation charge applies prior to 14:00(local time) on the day of arrival” I got charged as a NO SHOW!?!? I cancelled and provided with the confirmation emails and numbers for it over 24 hrs before arrival. Now I find myself wasting my TIME and ENERGY dealing with the hotel itself and now I have to get my credit card involved as well. I do NOT recommend dealing with them since they are NOT responsive and no one wants to help over the phone either! Find yourself a better hotel! Will not be staying here in the future either!
As other reviewers have said, the location is convenient. 10-15 minutes walk to the train station and an easy walk to the old town. It is certainly an "authentic" neighborhood, but there a lot of "authentic" areas in Naples. The hotel is great. Large rooms, nicely furnished. Courtyard and cloister for breakfast very pleasant. Good breakfast selection. Nice bar (with tables on another courtyard). Very helpful staff (though, as others say, the front desk can be busy).
Great location in Naples. You can take the Ali bus from the airport to Stazione Centrale. From there, you can walk to the hotel. From the hotel, you can walk to the attractions of Naples. We used AVIOS points to subsidise our room rate, which made our room rate a good deal. Breakfast was good, especially the made to order coffee. The setting for breakfast is lovely, in the cloisters.the district does not look salubrious, but you get used to it, and I think that’s just what Naples looks like. Bottom line - I would use this hotel again.
We loved pretty much everything about this hotel. We stayed for nights in a Suite. Gorgeous large room, soundproofing is not great but we always carry earplugs so we were fine. The location could not be better. The staff throughout the hotel is amazing and helpful, breakfast staff are wonderful, especially Ms Barbara. Cannot wait to go back.
Nice city hotel on the edge of the old town. We had a deluxe room on the first floor, consisting of two levels (bathroom and sitting corner below and mezzanine with the bedroom). Good breakfast, nice patio bar. The core of the city centre is within 10 minutes walk.
Just returned from 4 nights in the hotel with my son. This was a postponed break (because of covid lockdowns) and the hotel have been fantastic. We changed the date of our stay several times and they were always accommodating. I requested a quiet room and we were given one. The rooms are very clean and have plenty of amenities. Housekeeping even checked every night that we had everything we needed! Breakfast had a good selection. All of the staff we came across were polite and friendly. I would recommend this hotel.
We stayed 2 nights in October at the end of our Amalfi coast trip. It is an old palace. The personnel was very friendly and accommodating. The location was ok but not in the prettiest section of the city. Overall I am trying that my perception of Napoli, which is not very good, not cloud the review of this hotel. Overall it is a good value. Beds were comfortable, sound isolation was good. Breakfast was fair.
Had a lovely break at this hotel staff very friendly and helpful and upgrade which we did not ask for. The hotel has an architectural style and decorate with different designs with fresh flowers and different ornaments on the tables. It very handed getting to the train station you can walked to it from the hotel. The only think we would say when you step outside it is different story as there is a lot of graffiti, but it is all around Naples. Also, it could be a bit scary as there is a lot of undesirables and this could but you of, but this is not a reflection on the hotel
We had a one night stay as part of our honeymoon tour. We really loked the hotel, pleasant welcoming and friendly staff, an unexpected treat of a bottle of fizz in the room for our room to help us celebrate were nice touches. Our room was on a corner with a nice terrace to sit out on in the evening. The room was very comfortable, very clean and the bathroom had a good range of toiletries. We had a good explore around the neighbourhood where the backstreets and squares really come to life at night. We had some excellent food and brilliant people watching. The neighbourhood is not flash, dress casual and out wearing comfortable shoes! Go with the flow and see something different and you'll really enjoy yourself.
