Central location. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Avoid staying in the room next to the side door (109 i believe) as it can be even more noisy through the night. and if you open the window its on the street and there's people eating in a restaurant outside the window. Breakfast could do with some more options. for me though I'd probably not return only because staying anywhere in central Naples means noise all of the time.
The reception staff here are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. We stayed one night in a wellness suite after an unexpected blip in our planned trip meant we needed an extra night in Naples. The room was lovely but it did smell quite pungent of sewage/drain which was quite unpleasant. The 2 nights following we were in a different room which was absolutely fine. It was clean, spacious enough and met all of our needs. The staff moved our bags for us whilst we were out which was a nice touch. We had access to Netflix in the room so watched a film in the evening before sleeping. The hotel is actually on the main strip, which is manic and chaotic and busy... but inside the hotel you completely forget where you are as its quite, and relaxing. Breakfast is just OK. I have a nut allergy which meant options were very limited for me, but my partner who does not have allergies also felt there was a bit of a lack of choice. That being said, it is still a nice breakfast with cake and pastries, fruits, toast, boiled eggs, cereals etc. Staff are attentive and we ordered cappuccinos to the room a couple of times which were delivered promptly and were lovely at a small charge payable at the end of the stay along with the City tax. We were given a little token gift of Limoncello Sweets on check out which was also a nice touch. Overall really enjoyed our stay, would recommend. I wouldnt stay again but that's because I wouldnt ever come back to Naples, not a reflection of this lovely hotel. …
We booked the Caruso boutique hotel for seven nights earlier this month, on our first visit to Naples. The hotel is in a great location for the opera theatre, galleries and museums, designer shops, furnicular, Metro and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. Access to the hotel courtyard is through a small door in a huge door (typical of the city) and once through this door, you enter a silent oasis away from the crowds. The hotel rooms are soundproofed and all areas of the hotel beautifully decorated and tastefully designed. The beds are huge and very comfy and the bathrooms of high quality with mood lighting if desired. The hotel is immaculately clean and fresh. Breakfasts are delicious with fruit juices, tea, fresh coffee, pastries, fruit, ham, cheese, toast, boiled eggs, yoghurts, cereals, biscuits and cake available. Finally, all the staff we encountered were extremely friendly, helpful and speak excellent English if needed. Alessandro was particularly helpful in giving advice on attractions in the area. This is a genuine boutique style hotel and a real gem in such a unique city.…
The location is perfect, the service is pleasant (we had to leave early in the morning and they offered us a very generous take away breakfast basket). The room is well equipped, clean and comfortable (we took the suite for 3 members). It was a wonderful experience.
2 friends and I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights while we explored Italy. When we walked in we were immediately greeted with water and treats as we went through the check in process. Alessandra in particular was very hospitable and helpful in getting us checked in. Our room was available two hours before check in which was awesome. Very clean room with plenty of space. A luxurious bathroom with mood lighting. The hotel is well placed to see the bustling heart of Naples on via toledo. It is right next to the galleria and street markets for shopping, and right by the waterfront and all the sights. Also helpful was how close to the bus stop and taxi stands as well. Check out was a breeze. No complaints. Overall a great luxury experience for an affordable rate.
The ladies that looked after us on our stay were nothing but friendly, professional and helpful. We arrived past midnight following a delayed flight and the receptionist gave me extremely considerate instructions on how to access the hotel via WhatsApp. All of our questions and requests were well responded to and the stay was very comfortable. A great hotel with access to the extremely lively Via Toledo! We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast too! Would come back here again.
Very pleasant and attentive staff. A nice room was a little spoilt with tech not working properly. Wi-Fi constantly dropped and the smart tv could not be connected to the internet. Small things, but important for some. The location was fantastic. Breakfast was was a 7.5/10
Great small hotel. Very well situated very good sleep quality. Quiet and private yet situated right in the center of things. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. We ended up getting very late to the hotel but still we were welcomed and taken care of
With a prime location on the Via Toledo across from the Galleria Umberto, we found Caruso Place to be just the right place for shopping and people-watching up and down Via Toledo; for visiting the great San Carlo Opera House; enjoying seafood dinners in the Santa Lucia neighborhood; taking the funicular up to the Castel Sant'Elmo; strolling along the Lungomare; visiting the Nuovo Castel Maschio Angioino; and taking a ferry to Sorrento from the Porto Molo Beverello. Super solid and attractive old building, very nice staff, more than adequate breakfast. I would recommend Caruso Place without hesitation to family and friends.
The location id perfect. Right at the hart of the walking street. Despite the centralized location it quite and peaceful. The hotel is boutique hotel with few room. All of them great. The stuff is very very nice and attentive. We arrived late and they (Romina) waited for us and guide us all the way. We used a car as we can from Rome and continued south and garage was ok (10 min walk)
