The Weber Ambassador Hotel is a four-star luxury Capri hotel, right on the beach of Marina Piccola, the nicest of Capri Island. No beach in Capri isle and in the world is more fashionable and exclusive than Marina Piccola. This hotel is ideal for those who are looking for a totally relaxing holiday, in perfect harmony with nature and the sea, in a location well away from the bright, noisy and some time problematic Piazzetta, a very crowded place where all discos and night clubs are, and where thousand of young people spend the night in gangs. Although this is only metres away, and can be reached using our free shuttle service, which runs every 5 minutes throughout the day and until 3.00 Am. We won't offer you "3 for 2" or "5 for 3" nights like some Capri hotels do and in which, when you book and stay only one night because the place isn't inhabitable, they make you pay for the whole stay. You can book a room at the Weber Ambassador through our booking system online

The main benefits for staying at this hotel is the gorgeous view of the Faraglioni rocks from our bedroom balcony, the affordable cost for the location and the complimentary shuttle service to the center of Capri. The property itself is very dated and in desperate need of an

Dear Sir, Firstly we would like to know where you did see the carpet, we do not have carpets in the hotel. For the lighting, Capri is not Las Vegas. About the access to the pools, we can not argue with our customers if they put the chairs next to the ladders, you could just say permission and pass through. And are you sure that there were 40 bees in the swimming pool and not 18, did you count right all of them? Dear Sir, the woman in your party tried twice to take mineral water bottles from our fridges behind the waiter's back, but you must pay for the bottles and she wanted them for free. For the restaurant Verginiello, the restaurant manager is my cousin and I know how it works, when he sees young customers coming, seemingly cheap customers, he makes them standing for hours with a glass of 20 cents prosecco in their hand, waiting for wealthy customers to come and get a sit. Surely it was your first time to Italy, you will learn.

This is a relatively big hotel in Capri and it is well managed with professional staff and service. When we arrived at the port and called the hotel they immediately arranged a car to pick us to the hotel( 5euro per person as found out later). And there is free shuttle bus to

I asked for a room with a view when booking and got one, of a wall 2 metres from the patio doors (perhaps because my partner had to cancel and single occupants don’t need a view in their eyes?). Marina Picola was picturesque but everything was closed from October, so walked back

Dear Signora, It is right, you are completely right..you have the face of people who book the cheapest room of the hotel without sea-view (check your reservation please) and pretend to have a Junior suite with sea-view. We have a free shuttle bus bringing people back and forth to the city center untill 2 am but after spending a night in a restaurant you didn't see our free van waiting for you and happy for the evening you took a taxi. About our rooms, they all are the same size, about 30mt squares, what change is the sea-view, but they cost a bit more... It is not question of faces here at Weber Ambassador.

We saw his crusty, miserable behind hiding in the back office with a wad of tissue stuck up his nose, responding unprofessionally to constructive feedback on his hotel. I say we nominate this aging and poorly run property to Anthony Melchiorri to come and shed some light on him on how to properly run a hotel business, and our International Hospitality firm is submitting a formal complaint to the Ente Provinciale Turismo and sending a copy in Italian, to Giovanni De Martino's office. Warm regards, Mrs. Curren, NEWH, NCIDQ

They vary. From place to place anywhere from 24 to 50 euros for 2 chairs and an umbrella. There is a public beach you can use with beach towels, but it gets very busy. However if you are on a budget it's the best option. We did public beach one day and paid the next.

The beaches near the hotel were free to go on when we were there (April) The hotel supplied a mat for the beach-much needed as stony, but not towels, these were just for the pool. Have a fab holiday!
