Hi,me and my husband booked this hotel through a travel agent last year,so we could judge it only by the foto provided in the cataloge and a short description attached.I would not recommend this hotel to any couple in love :), hotel's staff was very unfriendly and suspicious, always having sour faces and answering in a very rude manner.Food was average,waiter...

Beautiful location with lovely terrace looking out acsross the Bay to the Isle of Ischia. SImple but very clean rooms and staff couldn't be more helpful. Standard continental breakfast - nice snack bar and reasonably priced evening meal in restaurant serving simple home cooked fayre. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Sorrento

We have been going to the Dania Hotel on and off for 15 years. It is like home from home from us. The family and staff are wonderful and make you feel very special. The location is the best ever - the views are breathtaking - All the people I spoke to were having a wonderful time and were very...

I was dubious about booking this hotel when I saw the reviews but was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were lovely and welcoming which was appreciated especially as I was a lone traveller. The room was nicely furnished if a bit dated but the dining room had lovely views over the bay and the swimming pool and area were very...

I stayed at the Dania as part of a Voyages Jules Verne package and had mixed expectations due to some other reviews on this website. However, my own experience was delightful. The outside of the hotel may have an air of faded elegance, but the interiors and the pool and bar area have recently been redecorated and are fresh and...

Booked with Newmarket Holidays Half Board allocation on arrival. Upon arrival late evening with my wife and young son the staff had prepared a a cold snack which was very welcome but children may not find this appetising but the thought and effort was appreciated. The room was basic with a t.v and remote control. I noticed a safe and...

We had an excellent 2 weeks here. Rooms with balconies looking over the Bay of Naples are a must. While it is out of town,(Sorrento), a 10 min. bus ride @ 1 euro per trip is to be recommended. Hiring a car would only be for the brave or foolish . The bus terminus is located just 100mtrs.from the hotel.

I've been taking my family to the Dania almost every year for the last 14 years and the biggest tribute I can pay to this hotel is that every time I leave I hope it will not be for the last time. The main reasons we like it so much are the location and the helpful and friendly staff. If...

Great location, few problems with room but these were very quickly sorted. We stayed as B&B, the food was very good. Buses run into Sorrento every 15-20mins. Walk through lemon/olive groves to a tiny pretty fishing village for a really nice meal, take a torch as walk is not fully lit. We would go again.

I cannot see how this Hotel receives such bad reviews, the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. True it is not luxurious but the views and location make it a lovely experience. It is not in Sorrento but the walks and views nearby make this a plus , only 50 yards away is a Bus into Sorrento at...
