A beautiful classy period hotel with inlaid marble floors throughout the ground floor and really nice marble staircase. The outside terrace is wonderful with stunning views over the bay of Naples towards mount Vesuvius. The restaurant is also very nice with very pleasant attentive staff. We enjoyed all the meals but one although the waiter offered to give me another...

Just spent a week at the europa palace. Lovely spacious room decor suited the hotel and comfy bed. bathroom was in need of a refurb. shower screen leaked badly and resulted in using most towels to mop up the floor in the mornings. although reported to reception no effort was made to solve the problem. under the soap tray was...

We stayed here a few weeks ago in a sea view room with its own terrace which we booked early. The room was spacious, clean and characterful with wonderful views and a sitting area on the terrace. Overall the decor I would describe as shabby chic but pleasantly so.We found the staff to be helpful and charming and the location...

We were expecting a small room but were pleasantly surprised to find a very spacious room, spotlessly clean and leading onto THE most spectacular terrace. The bed was comfy,TV limited (only BBC News but who cares!), air con aged but effective but the bathroom was tired - poor shower but good bath. First night we ate in a large pleasant...

This hotel ticks all the boxes, one of only a few that is right on the cliffs giving you the best view of the bay of naples and vesuveus not to mention sorrento harbour. The hotel is very close to the main square of sorrento so you are only a 3 minute walk to all the lovely streets of sorrento....

my daughter had her wedding reception at this hotel on the 19th sept, it was a great day until it got to cutting the cake, while we were ushered onto the terrace from the tables the waiters cleared our drinks ( most of which were full ) only to be told that if we went to the bar they would...

The best thing about this hotel was the terrace with its views looking over to Vesuvius, from morning to dusk it never failed to create magic. The second best thing was the great swimming pool and sea bathing solarium, reached via a lift and walk through a long cave. Thirdly, you can walk into Sorrento easily, BUT much else was...

We stayed 7 nights with Riviera travel. The views and position of the hotel were wonderful and the staff delightful, nothing was too much trouble for them. However our room in the annexe overlooking the road badly needed updating and the shower was a challenge to get in for a a normal sized person, let alone anyone slightly portly or...

No doubt about the romantic setting of the terrace and al fresco dining at this larger hotel, but the service during the reception left a little to be desired. Over cocktails and canapés on the terrace and whilst we were seated, all went fairly well, but when we moved back to the terrace to see the cake being cut our...
