We booked the biggest suit room to be able to accomodate 2 adults and 2 kids. Was huge with 65meters and a very spacious bathroom. We had a study desk area, 3 balconies , spa bath , safe and all the usual items expected. Shower somewhat small for the size of the bathroom. They didn't supply tea and coffee machine...

No one can fault the location of this hotel and the views from the terraces. The hotel itself is good but not great, this is attributable to several factors - different standards of rooms, fairly unremarkable food and dated fixtures/fittings. We stayed in the annex, but were more fortunate as our room was quite large and had 3 Juliet balconies,...

Gosh, people must be very confused by the trip advisor ratings! I will attempt to clarify after 3 visits here. Firstly this hotel is split level, hotel street level with additional rooms in adjacent building terrace area with hard low wood tables and chairs and parasols and plastic ones for serving light lunches and drinks, open to non residents. Level...

I don't know where to start, bravo to the lovely staff. They are always happy and genuinely pleased to see you. My visit was made extra special by Lucenzo at the beach bar and Paulo in the pool cafe and restaurant in the evenings. Front desk staff were more than happy to call around make reservations for us and organize...

Have just returned back home having spent a superb time at The Europa Palace. Prior to writing this review I took the time to read through recent reviews. I find it amazing the some people have posted some negative and scathing reviews. We have been lucky to have stopped in some amazing hotels over the years and have to say...

The Europa Palace is classed locally as a 4* hotel and is situated within very easy walking distance of both the railway station (trains to Pompeii and Vesuvius) and 'Piazza Tasso', the central square of Sorrento, with its multitude of cafes, bars and restaurants. Unprepossessing from the outside, the hotel's small reception area belies the space and opulence of the...

I was really looking forward to this holiday, there had been such a build up to Sorrento and the hotel but was bitterly disappointed and I am glad I only had a week because two weeks would have been awful. The hotel itself is a very dated villa that is in desperate need of some serious maintenance work and a...

Just returned from one week at this hotel with Thomas Cook. It was our first visit to sorrento and after reading several other travellers comments we were very apprehensive staying here...however..this has turned out ot be a terrific hotel, in a fantastic location with "to die for" views. We upgraded to a suite over looking the bay, and for the...

Following my trip with my son and niece with an age range of 25 to 53 I can say we all enjoyed the most hospitable stay in this hotel and would strongly recommend it for a relaxing experience. The staff were both pleasant and helpful. Our bedroom and bathroom had a classical elegance; my only regret is we did not...
