Four of us spent 5 nights at this hotel in May.the shuttle bus they have was around whenever needed to take us down the hills into Sorrento or pick us up to return us to the hotel. The view from our large room was breathe taking. The rooms were very clean and modern. We ate most of our meals at the hotel...

Like everyone says about this place. The service is second to none, and the food is absolutely tremendous...If you add that to the views you get from either your balcony or the restaurant terrace, you will not leave this place without thinking of returning

Recently vacationed in Italy, which included 7 nights at the Il Nido and simply put, it was like being with your family. Everything about our visit and stay at the Il Nido was wonderful. Our room was comfortable, clean and the panoramic view from our balcony terrace of the lemon orchards, Bay of Naples, Mt. Vesuvius was spectacular.. The family...

Il Nido is a family run hotel perched on the edge of a mountain with an incredible unobstructed view of Mt. Vesuvius across the Bay of Naples. I don't know how they can provide this level service for the rates they charge. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with lovely private bathrooms. The common areas are very well decorated. There...

This hotel is up in the hills about 10 mins from town, but it's a nice quiet retreat especially after visiting the hustle bustle city of Roma. Family run and very cosy. Free van service was very convenient. The room was spacious and clean. Pictures on their website are exact. We had a nice sized terrace with a view of...

We stayed in Il Nido for one week during early September, based mostly on the reviews we had read on here. The hotel is perfect, and with the frequent shuttle bus, we really enjoyed staying out of Sorrento town and up in the hills where the views are just great. The bus stop over the road makes it easy to...

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at Il Nido early in September. Our choice of hotel was largely based on the almost unanimous rave notices on Trip Advisor, and we were not disappointed. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and very well equipped (including top-quality air conditioning, safe and mini-bar). The view over the Bay of Naples from the...

We had a great 5-night stay in this family-owned hotel of 45 years, and it was the best hotel we have stayed in Italy, and it's only 60 Euro per night for two people!! The two brothers who ran the hotel arewere very friendly and helpful. It's up on the hill with a very nice and breath-taking ocean view out...

Hotel Il Nido was a very beautiful hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous with a Balcony you could sit out on and eat with a view! Although the hotel was situated about 10 minutes out of Sorrento-up the mountains-the hotel provided a mini bus that took you down to the center of Sorrento and...

My sister and I had a wonderful six night stay at Il Nido. As all of the previous reviews have said, this is a truly special place, and benefits greatly from being a family run business, where everyone involved takes a great pride (and rightfully so) in ensuring that the needs of every guest are fully met. There is absolutely...
