For the price we paid we couldn't have asked for any more, the gardens are genuinely beautiful and even though the pool is extremely cold it's very elegant, with a beautiful waterfall that gushes down from the pool. The rooms are average and quite old fashioned, but the staff are wonderful and the manager moved me and my boyfriend into...

We stayed here for a week in October 2016. The property is located just outside Sorrento and some of the rooms have a pleasant sea view over the Bay of Naples. The villa has been sympathetically converted from several old buildings grouped on a hillside; traditional materials are used throughout. The rooms have comfortable beds, ample storage for clothes, plus...

It's was a lovely place in the hills. I checked the reviews before booking, thinking I was not a long walk to the town, it was a very dangerous road no paths, has to rely on the shuttle bus which twice did not turn up, has to pay €23 to get back to the hotel, which we had not budgeted...

Must admit that I was a little disappointed when we reached our rooms: another case of not as advertised- the room we received was alot smaller than the pictures on the site and lacked a few other things that were also in the photos. Other than that the place was lovely with intricate gardens, stunning pool, breathtaking views and friendly...

I booked this hotel on line to be close to the Hotel Grand President where our relatives were staying for a wedding. We could not have been happier. What a hidden gem. The rooms are small but contain everything you need including A/C. The Bathroom is a good size with a Bath and Shower and a good supply of the...

Me and my best friend have been there vor 10 days. We enjoyed it very much. The service is more than just friendly and the always treat you kind. The breakfast is variegated enough for everybody. You have a nice sea view and the rooms are clean and big enough if you don't need luxury hotel rooms. It's quiet and...

I think when you stay in old Sorrento, you have to expect somewhat provincial accommodations. But really, who cares when you can stare at the Mediterranean? We stayed in a junior room, which was small and has seen better days (walls are peeling, pillows are kinda flat), but our host, Lara, is an absolute gem, so kind and helpful. They...

I would imagine that there are two kinds of people: those who would like the bustle of the city and the ability to walk to one's hotel from town, and those who would prefer the tranquility and cooler air of a hotel in the hills around town, which one must use a shuttle to access. There are tradeoffs to both,...

My friend and I have just got back from a few days at Villa Giovanna. What was so noticable from the staff was how friendly the staff were. They were very welcoming and anything we requested, they helped us out with. The villa was very clean and had a very convienient shuttle bus to the centre. It was very peaceful...

We had a lovely weeks stay at his hotel. Super room with lovely views. Very pretty Italian style setting with individualised accommodation. Plenty of hot water in the showers. Good buffet style continental breakfasts with plenty of food. Small unheated pool which was fine after a hot day sight seeing, enjoyed by a few children. We needed the shuttle bus...
