We stayed in June 2006 (apologies for the late review Don Michele) and absolutely loved it- charming well mannered staff, good size clean rooms, good bed, room with a fantastic view, generous simple breakfast, and basic bathroom- so not the place to stay if you want a luxury experience- we used the place as a base to explore around the... This hotel was a disappointment. Although the Amalfi coast is certainly worth a visit, this hotel failed to deliver. It is not within the town of Amalfi itself but along a road that snakes up from it. The walk down to town is a tad long and precarious, as it requires walking along a road without sidewalks with cars and... More

Excellent hotel, we had a great room and the balconies (which every room has) provide great views of Amalfi and the sea. The balcony had 2 sun loungers and a table with two chairs, and a little washing line, so it was quite big. The hotel does not do dinner but that is no issue given that Amalfi is 10... More

We have just returned from 4 nights in Il Nido Amalfi and we were delighted with the value for money . The views were fantastic from the balcony we had, and the room was a good size with a safe, TV, and fridge. Only complaint was the bathroom was a little tired and would benefit from a redecor. The room... More

Sorry for the late review, but it must have slipped since I wrote other reviews for my other stops. As far as I remember, this was by far one of the best stops in Italy we had. It was great service, great location. It is far from town, but the buses ran great, so you didn't need to worry about... More

We rented a car from Rome and drove to Sorrento, stayed in Sorrento for a couple of nights and headed towards the Amalfi Coast where we stayed at Il Nido for 3 wonderful nights. The hotel was in a great location - a nice 10 minute walk to the Duomo. We had wine and cheese out in our terrace one... More

We were recently at Il Nido for 3 nights. We loved the verandah, the view and the fact it wasn't right in the centre of town. (Approx ten minute walk in to town and approx 15 min back depending on how much gelati you've consumed........) Staff were lovely and breafast delicious. We had dinner one night at a restaurant called... More

Great hotel . The staff are excellent and helpfull The views perfect, rooms are average with private balcony, safe, fridge. Highly recommended. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. The Il Nido is a ten minute walk to the centre of Amalfi or a 10 Euro ride if taking a cab. The cab is worth it coming back as it is... More

We stayed there for my fd wedding. It is our 1st time in Amalfi. The hotel is small, but nice and clean. The room have a luvy balcony that facing the sea!! It's amzing in the morning.
