We stayed there as part of a U.S. tour group. The hotel is interesting and pretty in some ways but is average in terms of "creature comforts.". By that i mean lame shower, slow draining sinks and overnight staff. We were left very early in the morning but they didn't have a porter to take our bags downstairs. That was...

We stayed at this hotel for seven nights bed and breakfast having read reviews on most 4 and 5 star hotels in the area - and we loved it. Old school, no mod-cons and all the better for it, traditional service and cool large rooms with beautiful views out across Amalfi

We stayed 3 nights while hiking in the area. Our first room was small with a shower and on our 3rd night we switched rooms to a one with a bath. Both had lovely views of the coast and were very pretty. The breakfast is very nice. Because this was converted from a convent, there are hallways and alcoves -...

The hotel is beautiful and unique in its own regard, but what really separates it from the competition is its location and direct sea access. The hotel restaurant across the street was delicious and provided the most amazing views at night. While the hotels location provides the perfect amount of seclusion and privacy, you are only a 5 minutes walk...

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our guided tour of Italy. The hotel was once a convent and was charming and quaint albeit a challenge to navigate due to it's architecture. Being that it was originally built as a convent the rooms were all different. Our room was rather small but had it's own terrace overlooking the...

The hotel owns and rents out a 12 bedroom villa, high above the main hotel. The view is spectacular, the rooms are charming but the climb up the stone steps is exhausting. (I lost count around 200). We were touring with Culture Discovery and had the whole villa to ourselves, a group of 13. It was a wonderful private spot...

3 couples from Australia stayed at this hotel for a week. An outstanding choice. Don't come here expecting all the mod cons. Look at the photos and understand that you are getting an historic experience and old fashioned rooms, which are pretty basic, but have everything you need. The food is way about average whilst not being a Michelin star...

We had a wonderful room which overlooked the sea and Amalfi. We got engaged on our balcony and I can't have pictured a better place to have done that. The hotel staff were very helpful, polite and attentive. The hotel is a tad tired but in a way adds to the rustic nature of the area. Food is reasonably good....

This was our final stop on the Amalfi coast. We had hoped this would be the nicest place but it is quite austere. While the history of the building is very interesting and the rooms have a beautiful view of the ocean the rooms themselves are very basic. Suite has one fragile chair I am sitting on now and two...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights when we visited the Amalfi Coast. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and the staff was very nice. Pool and swimming access across the street very nice and Amalfi is a great place to visit
