The Senator Parque Central Hotel is lauded for its spacious and comfortable rooms, though some guests note the air conditioning is not up to par and the decor feels outdated. Its prime location near Russafa's lively area is a hit among travelers, and the hotel's cleanliness, including spotless rooms and thoughtful extras like complimentary water, is frequently commended. While the atmosphere is generally liked, opinions on value and service are split; some find the hotel a good deal with excellent staff, while others feel improvements are needed in both areas.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable and really good value. The double king room was big and comfy and with air con on and window closed at night we slept well and traffic sounds seemed distant and minimal despite our location at the front , facing the roundabout. We were on the third floor which probably helped.
Breakfast excellent apart from the sausages and bacon. The breakfast area is well managed and comfortable and there is lots to choose from.
There is a taxi rank outside the front door and average cost to the busy area is 6 Euro . ( market central is a good point to get dropped at for restaurants and sightseeing).

I had a wonderful stay here. The double room was big and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The reception staff and cleaners were all friendly and accommodating. The room came with most amenities like kettle, cups, tea and coffee and a mini fridge which you get a complimentary bottle of water on arrival. There is a TV however there were no channels in English. There wasn’t an iron in the room but you can get one at reception to use at no extra cost. Breakfast is not included in the room price but you can book for the days you want to have breakfast during your stay. Reception said it would be slightly cheaper if booked with them than at the restaurant, however, I thought the price for breakfast was still expensive. The hotel has a separate café from the breakfast room that you can grab some food and drink from and it looks like the café serves the general public too. There are also lovely lounge areas in the hotel with comfortable seating. The hotel location is perfect for walking to the centre in 15 minutes or by bus under 10 minutes. Although it is situated along the main roads to the city centre, the room was sound proof especially on the 7th floor. I look forward to staying at this hotel again.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We're thrilled to hear that the spaciousness and comfort of our rooms contributed to a wonderful stay. It's also great to know that our team's friendliness and accommodating nature stood out during your visit. We take pride in offering amenities such as a kettle with courtesy tea and coffee, and we're glad you appreciated the complimentary bottle of water provided. Our central location is indeed ideal for exploring Valencia, and we're pleased it enhanced your experience. While we're happy to hear that our soundproofing measures were effective, we regret that you found the breakfast pricing not to your satisfaction. We strive to provide a variety of high-quality breakfast options and will note your feedback for future considerations. We'll be pleased to welcome you back. Best regards, Gabriel Martinez Gerente Senator Parque Central Hotel ****

We have just returned from a 2 night stay a week before Christmas and booked through Booking.com. We booked this hotel as the rooms looked big in comparison to competitors and the website said rooms were sound proofed; we are light sleepers. Unfortunately our room was significantly smaller than expected (maybe my fault for believing the website?) and, as this hotel is on a very busy road junction, the traffic noise even with windows closed is loud including continual sounding of car horns and, of course, emergency vehicle sirens. Check in was fine though I did send 2 emails, address provided by hotel booking centre, for check in preferences but did receive any reply. Hotel was exceptionally clean and we felt like all covid precautions were being strictly adhered to. Things that could be better … €21 per night parking … really! Also, no USB charge points in room (surely a must in a 4 star hotel) and most 4 star hotels have the option to watch films on the tv in the original language .. normally English … not here :(
Location is good, 25 minute walk into town centre and there are many bars and eateries within 5 - 10 minutes stroll.
Overall, it’s ok but did not fully meet our expectations when comparing it to other similarly rated hotels in Valencia that we have stayed in over the last 2 years … sorry!

Due to COVID29 the borders are closed in NZ and we, as a nation, are unable to travel.
This hotel refuses to offer a refund of any amount, not even the Prepaid breakfasts. The booking is for 4 nights with breakfast for 2 elderly ladies who, due to the pandemic, may never get to Europe again. This hotel’s attitude is unbelievable. The only hotel on the booking that will not offer a full refund to these ladies.
I recommend not booking with them due to their very poor attitude

I just checked into this hotel for about 4 hours, and it has been a big disappointment. We are doing a bike tour and when we arrived, the receptionist tried to upsell us to a bigger room because of our bikes. We declined. Afterwards, she told us that we couldn’t put our bikes in the room because it was against the rules. Didn’t she just try to sell us a bigger room to put the bikes in? Ultimately, we had to pay 3 euro per bike per night and store them in the bike rack.

She told us the bikes wouldn’t fit in the elevator (another lie when we took it to our room), and we had to bring them outside into the garage. We saw the bike rack and weren’t happy locking the bikes to each other, so we went to the lower level to lock them against a metal rail. The bikes were totally out of the way and not interfering with anything.

We went to our room and I took a shower. I noticed that there was some hair in the shower. The towels were also very thin. I also noticed another clump of hair on the edge of the sink. Whoever is doing their cleaning service needs to step up their game.

About an hour later, I hear the phone ring. It was the receptionist demanding we move our bikes to the upper level. I really wanted to just leave this hotel for a better one where they accommodate their guests. All the places I’ve been to so far on this trip (NH Castellón Mindoro Hotel, Soho Hotel Barcelona, Peñiscola Plaza Suites) have done that. They make it easy for their guests, not try to pinch every euro from their wallets and give them $4!+. Unfortunately, we already booked for 3 nights and can’t get our $858 back. I’d be willing to lose a night’s rate, but all 3 nights is too much.

I will update this review after my stay.

We are very disappointed that our flights to Valencia were cancelled due to the ongoing Covid 19 situation and we were therefore unable to stay at the hotel , we had booked a cheap rate, however as this was beyond our control we contacted the company we booked through who in turn contacted the hotel and repeatedly tried to contact the hotel about either getting a refund or voucher for a future stay. This began over a month before our stay and only concluded the day we were due to arrive with the reception saying cancel the booking which was done, even then it took quite some time before the hotel finally contacted the booking company to advise them that they would not make a refund as we had booked a cheap rate. Whilst this was what we had booked I was disappointed with the hotels response and the time it took for them to make a decision as we have friends in Valencia and could have passed the room for them to use.
These are strange times and I would have just liked a quicker response and maybe some gesture of goodwill as we stay approx 4 times a year in Valencia however we will not be choosing to book here. The hotel was quite clearly staffed throughout this time so taking well over a month to respond is very poor service.

The hotel makes an excellent impression, it's a shame that the reception is not at an adequate level.
In summary we were given a room at the back which was noisy due to the column fans venting air in the rooms arranged on the 7 floors. Upon our complaints they gave us another room under the previous one, same story: they tried. Useless pilgrimage with luggage. In the end, PAYING a supplement of €40/night they gave us a front suite in which there was magically no noise (obviously, the drains were at the back). This made us waste at least 2 hours! IMPOSSIBLE that they didn't know. All speaking English and not Italian. We had the clear feeling of having been made fun of. We asked to speak to the Director, in vain. Obviously everything was already paid for with Booking/Genius and we think this had an impact on the choice of rooms at the back with that problem.
What can I say: 4-star hotel, beautiful, very expensive (18€/person for breakfast), near Valencia Joaquín Sorolla train station, but far from the centre.
As we know, it's the first impression that counts: we won't go back again.

We stayed from 15th to 18th August, I would define it as a hit and run hotel but not one for a long holiday.
It is not well served by public transport, the area is behind Russafa, a suburban neighborhood with restaurants and bars, to go to the center you can take a single bus, number 8, and to reach the main attractions of Valencia, such as the port or oceanographic or science museum, you need to take at least 2 buses. Fortunately it is close to restaurants so if you do not take advantage of a full board you can organize them externally, which is not valid for breakfast which if it is not included in the offer, it is difficult to find an adequate pastry shop near the hotel to be able to consume it .
Let's talk about the positive notes first, polite, polite and efficient staff, spacious rooms, well organised, comfortable, with many benefits offered to customers, we had a family suite.
The rooms are rearranged daily in a careful and clean way, the beds are excellent but the bathroom needs to be renovated as it still has a bathtub.
Corridors and elevators without air conditioners, it was hot and dirty. The breakfast room was well organised, staff present and plenty of choice, an international breakfast, so it's worth it! The thing that I didn't like, regardless of good manners or etiquette, everyone thinks as they see fit, is that on the day of departure for Palma, having two small children, I prepared small sandwiches with ham to take with me. , certainly not a takeaway lunch, and the staff approached me telling me that it was not allowed, consulting any hotel regular, there is no such prohibition especially because breakfast is not offered free of charge by the hotel but was paid handsomely by us and for this reason there is a right to enjoy what is appropriate for our normal breakfast even if we decide to consume it at another time, it would have been justified if we had removed crockery or entire baskets of food from the breakfast room. In Italy such rudeness would never have happened considering the high level of hospitality that we generally offer to customers. Big flaw indeed!

We had a very good short stay at this hotel, I can’t agree with the negative comments, we have stayed in many hotels throughout Europe and this is exactly what we expected. Location is slightly off the main attractions but easily walkable for most people within 25-30 minutes on level and flat pavement.
The hotel standard is as advertised and we had nothing to complain about. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Most speak good English and are polite and happy to help.
Avoid the busiest times at breakfast because it tends to get a bit crowded but we always found a table! They have good selection of breakfast items which would cater for anybody’s tastes.
Hotel was light, and airy well maintained but some may find it a bit ‘corporate’ in decor, if you want something small and quirky this is not for you. 25 minute taxi ride from the airport costs about 25 Euros.

I stayed with my family for two nights. We always stay in 4 or 5 star hotels, but this hotel should not have the 4 stars accredited. We stayed 3 people in a superior room which we paid for three people. When we got to the room we found, courtesy of the hotel, 2 bathrobes, 2 pairs of slippers and two bottles of water. And the third person we paid for, doesn't that count?
When we got to the room we found that we did not have a single washcloth. I called the reception and the receptionist answered that the colleague was uploading them right now. 2 hours later and without anyone having shown up, we go for a walk and before leaving I go to reception again to ask for the towels. The receptionist says that when we return I should ask her for them and she will give them to me. On my return I go back to reception and instead of giving me the towels she tells me that she will tell her colleague to take them to the room. An hour and a half later I call the reception again to ask about the towels and say that we have been waiting for more than 5 hours, the receptionist, very unpleasant, hangs up on me. The only thing he did was delay us. Of course, 40 minutes later the towels appear.
As for breakfast, the price they charge has nothing to do with the quality and variety of what is offered. We ordered a waffle that they make on the spot and you couldn't even cut it with a knife, it was hard as a stone.
We went to that hotel believing it was a good choice, but it doesn't meet our expectations even remotely.
😡😡(I leave 2 emoticons, because maybe in your hotel it is customary to leave 2 of each thing instead of 3).
