This hotel is in a great location. We paid extra for the sea view which is worth it, except for three nights the guy next to us sat on the balcony and smoked a terrible smelling cigar. When I explained we were not happy with the odour he just said it's legal to smoke on the balcony. The hotel staff seemed uninterested in helping. The breakfast was just ok, we ate breakfast out of the hotel after two tries at it. Overall, the staff were pleasant, but the hotel needs a serious update. The bars and roof top pool were not open as advertised and closed early with no explanation. I asked for towels for teh hotel pool and were told we had to buy our own and could not use the towels from the rooms. We had two rooms together as our adult daughter stayed as well. We wanted a special treat as it was two of our birthday's but we were VERY disappointed. Next trip to Calpe, we'll be back in the family apartment and do our own cleaning and cooking.

I really can't understand the poor reviews of this hotel. Our experience of it was way above my expectations. Yes, it's fair to say it's probably more like a very good three star hotel rather than four, but for the price we've just paid, it was excellent value. Our room (410) was perfectly well decorated in beige and creams and spotlessly clean with sleek floor and bathroom tiles. A modern easy chair and a bright blue desk chair added pops of colour. There was a reasonable sized fridge, plenty of wardrobe space and the shower was so hot and high pressured we used it on half-setting. The free WiFi worked perfectly on multiple devices. All the staff we encountered were friendly, cheery and helpful. Breakfast was included in our rate and we were very happy with the offering - lots of hot and cold choices which varied each day. Of course, the hotel's very best feature is its location a few steps from the beach, bars, a supermarket and a bus stop. A short walk up the hill takes you into the commercial heart and old town of Calpe. We will definitely stay here again.

Original room on 7th floor had shared balcony with partition & dogs barking on the other side. Room was grubby, graffiti on the wall, tired shower curtain and dark. Upon arrival asked if I would like reduced housekeeping. I was happy to save the environment so agreed Monday of 4 night stay. I told reception room not acceptable and was told no other rooms available. I asked for discount but another room was offer on level 4. No apology but the wallpaper was leather so unable to remove graffiti. It took a while to move from one room to another as lift was busy. The room locked me out on my final trip & mask was trapped in the room. I went to reception with my dress covering my face & was told I should be wearing a mask. I explained and was told I should still have had mask on & I only had hour to transfer my luggage. On Tuesday I mentioned I had not received housekeeping. Two towels were almost thrown into the room & some replacement soaps. Only good thing about hotel was close to beach and amenientes & roof top pool. Would defiantly not recommend. Clearly don’t like the english

Overall, almost everything about this hotel was well up to our expectations. The highlights are its amazing location, right next to the beach and excellent service from the extremely friendly and helpful staff. I concur with other reviews that, for the most part it feels more like a good 3 star hotel rather than a 4 star. The rooms were more than adequate but a little tired. However, the roof bar, terrace and pool was excellent. I’m not sure that it was great value however at €401 for 4 nights, an additional €60 to upgrade to a sea view (money well spent and I would strongly recommend) and €40 for parking which I feel should have been included for free. The only bad thing was breakfast, which was fairly low quality despite a wide selection and, although included in our room rate was charged at €12 each per day if paying separately. Much better to go to a nearby cafe on the seafront instead! Overall, we would stay here again, but would be tempted to research better alternatives.

We stayed in a superior room with terrace and sea view, the room didn't feel like a 4 star, felt more like a 3 star, same with the corridors, the rest of the hotel was definitely 4 star, roof top pool and bar were excellent, excellent location, friendly staff, very clean. We didn't try the food there so can't comment on that, there's loads of lovely restaurants within 5 minutes walk, less than a minute to the beach. The hotel car park was 11euros a night, which to me is very expensive and should be included in the stay, especially for a 4 star hotel.

Receptionist are beyond helpfull, something wrong with my booking but for one hour they did everything to help me out. Rooms are spacious, clean and have balconys. Locker in room didn't work, in 15 minutes they repaired it. The rooftop bar has amazing sunset vieuws, and during the day its fun to see all the people in the sea from this hight. Its in the middle of the center but the beach is just down the stairs, so are all aminities, in reach off 1 minute walk. Will return!

This was the worst experience I ever had in a hotel. The staff is rude and there is no service at all. It started at check in when Francisco did not explain us anything at all. When we entered the room we found out that we didn't get the room with view that we asked for, when we asked for it they said that we booked a standard room and they have city view, well city view means that you can see the neighbors. Then the next morning, in Spain you cannot drink water from the tap so you expect a bottle of water in the room but this was nowhere to be found. When we called to ask for this the receptionist mentioned that they don't have this service, if you want to order a bottle you will have to pay a roomservice charge of 20 euro! 20 euro to bring us a bottle of water!!!! It is a joke! We left the room a little later than check out time, the receptionist called us and she was really really rude. Her words where: la hora de salida está a las 12 necesitas que bajar ya! Never ever before I have experienced something like this. I would not recommend the hotel at all!

I am writing this complaint regards our overnight stay, which was appalling I’d first like to state how it wasn’t clear that pets are allowed. You find out when you’ve booked the hotel. I have severe allergies & therefore I’m hypersensitive to any animal odour/hair. Had I have known this I wouldn’t of stayed, I emailed prior as this is an important factor when I’m on vacation, I had no response. When I spoke with the reception, they were not interested. We went to the room where it was clear pets had been in the room, I had no sleep my chest was tight I couldn’t breathe, my eyes were swollen, my skin came out in a rash & I was extremely uncomfortable. The pool area was shocking, the water was discoloured & very dirty due to sand & body parts, it was disgusting, there were no covid restrictions in place and the beds were all so close & the space between guests was not adhered to, it was so packed, we couldn’t stay, nor did we want to. The breakfast system was also very poor & not implemented, tables not clean & the food was inedible, I’ve never gone to a hotel where there was nothing to eat, usually the fruit is ok not on this occasion it was dry & old. The bread was hard. The waffles were hard and the bacon was barely cooked. The stay was very disappointing and I will not be returning.
