It is for Spanish guests and not really for English especially if you are all inclusive. Lovely location right by seafront. Great little bar across road by the train ,ideal for snacks. Excellent restaurant around the corner. We ate out rather more than we were going to.
My wife & I came back from this one last Saturday. Yes, the hotel is dated but the position & cleanliness of the hotel is brilliant. The staff are lovely and will help anyway they can. Rooms are huge, cleaned every day. you could park a ship on the balcony. The hotel supplies you with a free safe & fridge and kettles can be acquired at reception. Being disabled, we had a room with a shower room, hot water every time. Food, well I'm sorry, if you can't find anything to eat with what's on offer then your not really trying, I never had a chip all week. Your right on the beach and we were lucky to have fab weather. The only downside was a wonky lampshade on my side of the bed. 😊
Just returned after a week at the hotel. The positives : Nice size rooms cleaned daily. Comfy beds, staff friendly and very hard working . Location fantastic. Pool was great, lots of beds available . Bar prices were very reasonable , cheaper than most bars in area. Negatives : rooms very dated , hotel a bit boring, entertainment really poor , Boring and geared to older people. Food, well this was the worst part of the holiday for us . Yes it was geared towards the Spanish but that wasn’t the problem , the problem was the quality of it . Very bland , repetitive and poor quality. Call us fussy but we don’t eat runner beans,Peas or rice for breakfast! The deserts were awful and it was all very samey . We are British but didn’t want British food as some previous reviewers have suggested, we just would have liked tastier food . Trust me my hub will eat anything but even he struggled here. We enjoyed our holiday but probably would not stay here again , or Calpe as there wasn’t enough to do .…
Just feel the rooms need updating, but they are very spacious and comfortable. Also a bonus is the storage most we have ever had. Also liked the sofa in the room a nice touch.Always had plenty of hot water.
A lovely hotel. Located next to il fach and a lovely beach. Hotel is clean and the cleaners do a great job. Hotel room clean and everything you need. Balcony was huge with great views. Meals were lovely and plentiful. We spoke some Spanish. Staff were friendly.
Hotel for old Spanish people. Do not travel there if you don't know Spanish or looking for young family holidays. Nothing to do with kids - no playground, poor entertainment, internal pool not suitable for kids. My son had birthdays there - no possibility to order cake (we get one from shop) All Inclusive 11am-11pm only - we arrived after 11 pm and went to bed hungry, left hotel just before 8 am they don't do early breakfast Fire alarm in the middle of night - no explanation, no apologies. Staff always 'don't know' or 'is impossible'.
Stayed here recently and I really liked the hotel. Check-in was quick and easy and staff were friendly throughout. The room was clean & comfortable although a little dated unfortunately. The furniture needs updating as it looked quite tired and old. WiFi worked well within the room and I could stream Netflix without problems. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day with fresh towels and toiletries provided. The hotel is indeed spotless throughout, the cleaners do a great job. (I just wanted to note that I was reading previous reviews regarding there being no English speaking TV channels. There now seems to be an addition of the BBC channels on the TV.) The breakfast buffet was fine, plenty of choice and enough for everyone. Staff were friendly in the restaurant. I didn't eat here of an evening so cannot comment on the evening meal choices or service. There is a pool area, it's not big compared to other hotels but sufficient on non-busy days. The location is what makes the hotel, right next to a lovely beach and a small seafront area of shops, restaurants and bars. Parking was OK, did have to drive around a couple times to find a suitable spot but never had any major troubles with parking the car nearby to the hotel. I have read in previous reviews that this hotel is more for Spanish guests, I can understand why they wrote that but I did notice entertainment and daytime activities in English too. Nonetheless, a 'hola' and a 'gracias' can go a long way! :) I'll definitely return at some point.…
for the fist two days i went to the indoor pool with no problems but on the third day the forced me to wear a swimcap or leave the pool i bought the cap when i asked why i needed to wear the cap they said that it was beacuse it was a "sports pool" but they did not seem to have a problem with a baby crying distracting everyone els and toddlers running around the pool shouting. Also when i put on the swim cap it did not fit propperly and seemed verry ceap so i decided to leave the pool
Lovely hotel, a stone throw from the beach. The rooms were looked after very well & the housekeeping were super efficient at providing any extras. All the staff were very helpful & friendly in the reception, bars & restaurant. The pool areas were clean & spacious with a free indoor pool as well. Even the spa was only €10 with use of towels. The buffet style restaurant was very good, lots of choices to suit everyone & plenty of it!
Although it was an old hotel, we had a great time. Excellent value for the money paid. Very good breakfast, nice staff. We stayed in December and plan to try for summer. Nice view, you can even climb on Infach rock, marked path, outstanging views.
