Great location, next to all bars, the Best ice creams in Madrit. The room was ok, clean, with tv (only spanish channels). But it could use some common room, this is what I like the most in hostels. Price for late summer was very good
Stayed in a one bed and it was cozy and bright. Can't beat the location! Staff was super friendly and got us in early. Fresh towels everyday. Place could use a bit of cleaning, but overall was great for what we paid!
The location is perfect, very central, the room was clean and the staff very nice and helpful. Definitely highly recommended to repeat. Very Good value for money.I would definitely go back and recommend this.
Hostal Colors was a good hostal in a good location. It was clean and the water was hot and cold. The price was good and although it was noisy, we travel with ear plugs (ear putty) so it didn't affect us. We liked being in...More
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
