$40 for a walk in booking after 5 hour bus journey from Granada. Very handy for Metro for onward trip to airport next day. Small but very comfortable room, bed was very comfy. I arrived very late but could still grab a couple of beers. Lots of cheat cafes within a few metres.

The hotel itself offers great value for money. At around 45 euro a night (including breakfast) you absolutely get more than you paid for. Rooms are small but fully functioning and clean. Breakfast is basic but perfectly adequate. Since we had a very early morning check out we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant the day prior. Wait staff was quite rude and the food was nothing more than microwaved pre-made meals. Even the grilled chicken was microwaved making it pretty much inedible.

I was surprised by our stay at IBIS. While the rooms are not fancy, it was certainly clean and bedding comfortable. The bath was clean, essential and had a good disability set up. The lobby is a fun, modern open plan with bar, restaurant and seating. The staff, especially , Sara at the desk were friendly and pleasant and attentive to requests. A nice first time stay to IBIS hotels. They need to have many of these in the US to push out some inferior others. Well worth the price paid.

The hotel is perfectly situated " minutes walk from the metro station, which is on the same line to get you to the bus to and from the airport, very convenient. Roughly 25 minutes to the centre of Madrid. The hotel itself had all we needed, very clean room, cleaned daily. Friendly helpful reception staff. Worth the breakfast in the morning everything you needed, hot drinks, fresh juice, fresh fruit, breads, cheese, ham and more. Would certainly recommend this hotel>
