I arrived very late on transfer to another flight. Acomodation was organised promptly without any fuss over the phone. When I got to the reception desck thei were already expecting me. Room was ready for my short stay. Free bus to the airport early in the morning was excelent. Missed breakfast unfortunately it only started at 6.30.

This hotel and its facilities are great. The staff looked after us from the moment we arrived till the second we left. The food was good, particularly the paella, and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. It suited our needs perfectly.

We’ve stayed at the Hilton Madrid Barajas close to a dozen times in the last 12 months and have never been disappointed. They’ve done a amazing job bringing the staff, installations and services back after the pandemic. Their personnel at the reception, Exec Lounge (recently reopened), breakfast area and the shuttle van driver are very professional, courteous people, indeed, they are very nice people! The hotel and rooms are kept impeccably clean, the staff is very responsive to questions or issues, the breakfast offering is excellent (quality and variety), and the Exec lounge offers very good drinks and food. This hotel is great value, and they truly make an effort to ensure your expectations are met or exceeded.

Stayed one night so fly out the next morning on an international flight. The buffet breakfast was great. Free airport shuttle service runs every thirty minutes. The only drawback was that the air conditioner did not cool down our room. There are taxis available for traveling to downtown Madrid.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Madrid airport whilst in the city for work. It's surprisingly close to the city (about a10 to 15 min drive away) and is clearly close to the airport. The rooms were nice and of a good size and the gym and pool were both great, even if the pool was a touch chilly. A solid Hilton hotel, I'll definitely return in the future.

I picked out this busy airport hotel because it was supposed to be best of those near Barajas. Sadly, I really hope it isn't. It's an ugly 70s-type building (who cares? it's an airport hotel) with an unattractive open interior plan. For a small fortune (close to 300 euros), I booked a room and was given one from which everyone using the swimming pool could see directly into my room. I don't mean that my room overlooked the pool (as a hotel person tried to describe it) but that literally people using the pool were 25 feet away through two panes of glass. I don't know what genius thought this was a good design but it's not. I'm grateful the hotel moved and upgrade me but you should be able to open your blinds in any hotel room without turning yourself into a reality TV show character. If you get assigned any room on the first floor, you should ask about this if you want natural sunlight. The bathroom sink is a disaster. It is all in see through glass and, having no boundary at the edge of the sink (which has limited counter space), your toiletries falling into it happens easily and repeatedly. Equally bad, there is a gap between the back of the sink and the wall, so placing your toiletries towards what would normally be the backsplash results in a game of slot machine or pachinko in which you pick them up off the floor. Style over utility. The bed itself is very comfortable. High quality sheets. Big flat-screen in the room. Overall look is modern but still a little fun. Ordering room service proved impossible. Literally. I could not get through on the phone. Then, when I was given a number to call to order, the phone just decided to die after I was put on hold and no more calls were possible. I went downstairs where the food manager graciously accommodated me in the bar area as the restaurant itself was full (much appreciated). The pizza I had was surprisingly good. The lobby entrance is consistently chaotic and noisy, perhaps because it is too small for the size of a hotel where people are always leaving and arriving. You'll likely have to wait to check in or if you need help at the desk. There are a fair number of events in the hotel which make it all not exactly a tranquil pre-flight stop. The staff is generally helpful and trying but I wouldn't come back.

We are truly sorry to know that you did not enjoy the hotel interior, however, we are glad to learn that you found the bed to be very comfortable as well as you enjoyed the food in the hotel. We understand that the hotel design might not be liked by every guest, due to its sleek architecture and black, white and red themes. Being an airport hotel, and having our shuttle bus running from 5am to 1am from/to the airport, we are aware that the lobby might get busy at times when a number of travellers arrive at same time to the hotel for check in. The team though tries their best to expedite and accommodate the guests within a reasonable period of time despite this unique circumstances of the airport hotels. Regarding room service, we recently implemented a QR code/online system, where our guests can easily place an order without the need to call Room Service, and it has proved to be very successful amongst our guests. We are very sad to know that you will not coming back, however we do hope you will still stay in Hilton properties in your future travels. Thank you once again for your honest feedback. I don't usually write many reviews but this experience was outstanding. We checked in the day before our flight out of Madrid. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the attention was impressive and personalized. Micaela at the reception was extremely helpful and accommodating. She answered all of our questions and helped us make good decisions. It was extremely refreshing to find a human being so attentive and nice especially in a post-pandemic world where customer service is mostly extinct. The same level of attention continued through our stay and with all the staff including the shuttle driver. What a nice experience. We are definitely staying here again on our next trip to Madrid.

We stay in this hotel for a few nights after our flight into Madrid. We took the hotel shuttle which is nice and convenient. We where welcomed on arrival by the front desk staff, which are helpful and pleasant, however despite their good will, they could not compensate for the really poor state of the hotel. Everything in this hotel, from the room to the breakfast restaurant is gloomy. Not helping, a few days before our visit, the hotel experienced a fire in the gym and the smoke smell added to the awkwardness of the place. Our room was unimpressive, outdated, uncomfortable and to top it up the door was not closing properly being too old and therfore could not be locked. Due to the fire, no gym or swimming pool was available without any alternative proposed. The proximity of the mall Plenilunio could be a positive point for the hotel. But this proximity is only on the map, because in reality between the two places there's a motorway and the journey by foot or by car to the mall is way longer than expected. To sum up, the staff is doing a great job with the tools they have. But management should really consider to close the hotel down for a few months and refurbish it, especially after the fire they experienced.

As you mentioned in your comments, we suffered a fire in the male sauna on 2nd June, which was controlled perfectly, however, it impacted the opening of the gym and pool area for few days. Both our gym and pool area are re-opened already since mid June, however, we understand the inconvenience to our guests, and we thank everyone for the empathy during those unfortunate events in the hotel. We have already started a progressive maintenance of all rooms, as well as replacement of furniture in the hotel in the months to come, which we are sure will refresh the look and feel of the hotel, and we expect it to provide a even more comfortable stay to our guests.
