This was the first time I stayed at an Ibis hotel. This was a get location for our stay, easy access to either Bilbao or Trubunal metro station. The breakfast had a good mix of food but wish it had some hot food, everything was...More
Location is excellent! The dinning, bar, breakfast area is a bit small. The big table take to much space and can be replaced. I think the minibar should be reconsidered in the hotel chain because it makes it much easier. The Employees are courteous! Thank...More

We had a lovely time, Spanish people were very friendly and the countryside beautiful. The only problem we had was to communicate in some restaurants as they did not have an English translation of the menu. Historical sites, castles, cathedrals and museums are unforgettable. I...More

Lovely hotel bang in the centre with spacious rooms and continental breakfast. Ideally located less than 50 metres from bilbao metro station which takes you straight to RENFE railway station. Gran Via is also within walking distance.

I’ve generally been a big fan of Ibis hotels. There’s never much local color, but you do normally get a clean room in which everything works for a reasonable amount of money.
The Ibis Madrid Centro provided much of Ibis’ normal predictability, but it failed...More

Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to

the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
There are a ton of taxis waiting at the arrivals. It's a 20 min ride or so depending on traffic and it's a set $30 euro fee to get to the hotel. If you don't speak Spanish then have the address available for the driver

Hi there. I'm not sure about the bus terminal. It is very close to the underground station though. the station is Bilbao and literally across the road
Very easy.
Hope this helps.
