Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.

This is a lovely hotel just off the main drag of Gran Via close to an up and coming neighborhood with lots of shopping. The front desk team went out of their way to ensure we had all we needed. Would recommend this place if you are looking for something small and quiet.

Dear guest, We would like to thank you for taking some time to share your experience in our hotel. The staff tries always to satisfy the needs of the guests. It is true that we have some rooms which are interior, they can be a little darker but they are quieter too and we also have exterior rooms and we try to give the guest the room which fits their needs. We do not have English channels on the TV but all our TVs are smart TVs so you can go online and look for the channel you want to watch. We will take note about your comments of the breakfast to improve it. Regards from Madrid David Cachavera

do you provide hotel transfers to Madrid Airport
Hi. We didn't go to the airport from the hotel, as we went on to Seville by train. We did get the express bus, though, on the way there and you can get it at Cibeles on the way back. Costs 5 Euros.

how do you get to Madrid Airport from the hotel
Its very easy, taxi or bus but I tend to use the Metro for 5 Euros, takes 30 minutes, two changes but very simple and the stations are well signposted. pull down the metro app and plan the trip from aeroporto to Banque de Espana ( nearest station to Lusso Infantas.) so easy.
