We loved this hotel. Family of 5. Staff very helpful. Vanesa was really nice. Can't wait to come back. Location is very good. Close to Museo del prado and 12min walking to plaza del sol. Bathrooms were very clean. No need to bring any shampoo, toothbrush, plenty of everything

Had a wonderful time in this modern hotel. Excellent rooms, toiletries (despite the rather unusual room lay-out -- you see the bathroom first!), great breakfast, superior location (practically right behind the Prado, 10 minute walk from a Metro station). Staff speaks English and is very helpful with things like printing train tickets or calling you a cab. Great base for...

This is the worst hotel in Madrid. The customer service is non existent. The staff could not assist me with anything that I needed help with. I asked for assistance in getting a rental car and the woman looked at me like I was crazy and told me to go to the train station. I attempted to order room service...

What I liked: 1. Location was good as it is near the Madrid Prado Museum and it is located on a quieter neighbourhood. 2. The decor is nice and the room is a big squarish room ideal for 2 persons only. (The sofa opens up as a bed for another 2 persons but doing so eats up most of the...

Dear Duke_Singapore Thank you very much for your time, we always appreciate our guests’ personal feedback, it is very useful to improve our services, but I admit I am somewhat shocked after the hundreds of fantastic reviews and compliments we do receive everyday, specially about the great service provided by the team. Everything at Petite Palace was perfect! From check-in, through room upgrade to departure. Veronica was extremely helpful at check-in as was Olga. She arranged a room upgrade which made a big difference. Ask for the Superior Classic room, well worth the minor extra cost. Roomy with two balconies and quiet although on the street side and a lower floor. Location...

Senior couple. A recent injury resulted in a minor mobility handicap. We selected the hotel due to its location, our main objects being the Thyssen and the Prado. On this subject, it should be said that the hotel's location, within very short walking distance to both, is perfect - even ideal. The staff were polite, attentive and very efficient, and...

The staff at the Petit Palace are wonderful -- incredibly helpful, warm and pleasant. The Petit Palace Lealtad was the definition of the "perfect hotel." The hotel offers many desirable services such as a clean room, afternoon coffee, pleasant lounges, and an excellent breakfast. Staying in Paseo del Prado

Neighbourhood Profile
Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de Cibeles and Círculo de Bellas Artes cultural centers are other artsy hangouts to check out, with rooftop bars that provide impressive views of the city. While the Paseo del Prado and its roundabouts form a busy throughway in Madrid, a broad green pedestrian park in the middle is a calm and gorgeous place for a relaxing stroll. Just east of the museums, the Retiro Park is always a confluence of activity as families and friends of all ages take to the pretty paths and lawns to stretch their legs or to have a picnic.
