Very well located in the middle of a vibrant neighbourhood with nearby metro, bit shabby on the outside and reception but room modern clean and tidy. But...Would only recommend to stay in the week - my first two nights were fine wed/thurs but Friday night...More
Good value for money, wonderful place, very close to historical center of Madrid City
Very pleasant personal, always nice and welcoming
Despite the location close to center, very calm and rather quiet

Hostel was near the metro and just a few stops from Sol. A small room but clean and modern. A good option for just a place to sleep. Unfortunately you can hear the music pounding from the bar until 6am the next morning. There are...More
I stayed in this hostel because of it's location and also whilst searching where to stay, this is the most decent looking hostel around the centre, in my opinion. It was easy to find as it's close to tribunal station, upon arrival, the hostel does...More

Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to
the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
