My wife I stayed at 8 Rooms in October for a first time Madrid City break. Very clean place, great for a place to sleep, good beds. Inexpensive. Rooms are basic but comfortable, with t.v. Would recommend. Our daughter had been before. No need for a vehicle to get around (the traffic was pretty horrific anyway), as you are in... More

For a short stay in Madrid this is a good value hotel. Situated within a 15 minute walk from Atocha station , El Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen museums it can't be beaten for location. The hotel has 8 small self-contained rooms on the second floor of an apartment building. Rooms are very small and bathrooms, especially the shower, could... More

We were so pleasantly surprised by our stay! A bit hard to find and parking of course was a pain, but to be expected in the city! This is a new small boutique hotel. All the furnishings were modern and very comfortable! Nice spacious rooms, very clean. The front desk was very attentive and helpful. We really like to stay... More

Booked room at this hotel as it was advertised (and appeared) to be close to Atocha Station. In reality, about a 20 minute walk from Atocha with a few local bars in immediate neighborhood, but none of which had good food so no place to eat closeby. El Retiro Park and The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía were... More

It's just about the kind of place where either you want to stay for a night or you stay out the whole day. The room is small but that's how budgeted rooms are. Getting into your room the first time is a task. You have cross 3 barriers before you are actually into your room. Doors are coded so you... More

Modern and clean. Good size towels. Super value for money. Comfortable bed, the best sleep I've had in Europe so far. Close to the renfe station and the metro. Friendly reception. Even a simple breakfast was provided which we didn't expect for the price! Ticks all the boxes.

What a beautiful room with everything you require. Comfortable beds, large towels, coffee and breakfast facilities, microwave oven in kitchen. Close to the city centre with 15min walk and 5 min to the Atocha tren station and metro stop. Best sleep we had since leaving Australia 6 months ago.

Good location. Interesting to see inside a large apartment building. Quirky way of entering if you arrive after reception is closed which is emailed to you close to your arrival date. Room small and clean. When I arrived I had to turn off the heating. I was in no 7 and it was on the roadside so noisy. Good wifi.... More

excellent location, one of the best options if you arrive by train. Good people, we had a problem and the management supported and helped us. Sure we will visit them again when we come back to Madrid. Thanks, Joan.

quite disappointed by my experience at 8Rooms. we did not have high expectations given the price but this turned up to be worse than planned. this is basically an apartment with 8 rooms you can book. meaning you hear all of the noise around, and clearly no one cares about the other rooms as we heard the door opening and...
