Love the decor and friendliness of the people. Just needed a place to stay before leaving the following day. Comfortable too, nicely appointed although you can hear the traffic a little since you're right next to the main thoroughfare. Centrally located and I thought the food in the restaurants was very very good. Would definitely stay again. Price was in...

This Hotel is a old fashion way, during thr night because no good double glass window, you can heard a lot of noise, let´s not forget that you are almost in the center of Madrid. If you want to walk around the center it´s a good place, and it´s comfortable.

Stayed two nights , three rooms , two double room and one executive, its the same room but the executive has some advantages, but definitely, not necessary better, The decoration is quite old fashion, you cannot regulate the airco, in this case, the heating. for the button flush in the toilet , you must be very strong, because it's not...

Found this hotel to be quite comfortable. The rooms are what is to be expected in Europe, not overly large. Comfortable bed. No tea or coffee making facilities. Quite large bathroom with nice bath products. Breakfasts very nice with large choice of foods available. Not centrally located for the tourist area of Gran Via but metro very handy and Ho-Ho...

We stayed here for 3 nights, first 2 in a twin bed room on the 3rd floor. The carpet was worn and we looked out at a wall. However the last night we booked an Executive Room through Expedia, with a queen bed. We were then on the 5th floor with a great view. We had a private check in...

Stayed one night at Miguel Angel on our Insight tour of Spain and Portugal. Check-in was fast and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Smaller rooms and bathrooms are the norm throughout Europe, so the size is what we expected. This hotel is not in the heart of the city, however,...

Right next to subway station Gregorio Marañon in Line 10 has a great location if you are in the city for business, interest in studies at IE Business School or looking for local ambience but not in the center for turism. The well known Paseo de la Castellana is right in front, but bear in mind it is a very...

The hotel was very central to a metro, the big red bus and a little walk to a El Corte Inglis. Also a lovely walk down to the Prado along tree lined walkways (watch the dog poo). Also can walk back by the Calle de Serrano with lots of very nice shops. Handy spot, nice area.

Spent last night at hotel. Room 707. Although brochures and advertisements showed a vibrant hotel, it was far from it. I booked the room thru hotels.com. My room smelled like a gym of sweat. My bed was worse than a 4x8 piece of plywood, and lastly my pillows were like concrete blocks. The only bright side of the hotel was...

Staying in Chamberi

Neighbourhood Profile
Chamberi
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighbourhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.
