Hotel Preciados garners high marks for its central location, making it ideal for guests eager to explore local sights and indulge in shopping or dining. The hotel's modern rooms win over guests with their comfort, style, and cleanliness, although a few have noted they can be on the snug side with limited privacy.
Patrons frequently applaud the attentive service and spotless environment, particularly enjoying the peace afforded by soundproof rooms. While most guests feel the hotel provides good value, especially with its quality amenities and praised breakfast buffet, some consider the pricing slightly steep.

The hotel is located right in the centre of Madrid, a few steps from Gran Via, Callao subway super pertinho, by the location of to do the whole center on foot, has Day Markets, Carrefour and Corte Ingles in its surrounding tb. The hotel is very nice and all new, the room super comfortable, bed and pillows wonderful, bathroom very nice and spacious, and the frigobar is free, repunchen every day the consumed items, the cleanliness of the room and the hotel impeccable, the staff of the reception and manager are not very friendly, (I sent by email to the management a message about the bed and pillows of the hotel, which is not very good and because of a problem of column, it was wonderful, so I asked that if they could sell me one due to my problem, if they were available, I am still waiting for the return of the email), but this did not interfere with our stay, after all they are not obliged to sell anything, but could be cordial and at least return the email, the breakfast is in the Café Varella, which serves the morning guests of the hotel, delicious coffee, with a lot of quality and variety and all are very educated and functional. We intend to return to Madrid soon, and will definitely stay again in this hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights before a transfer to Barcelona and were extremely pleased with the service and accommodations provided by the hotel. Our skyline suite with terrace was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out after a day of sightseeing. The bathroom was well designed to allow privacy and the bath amenities were high quality. We appreciated the expresso machine in the room which housekeeping replenished daily. The location is 5*, and it is walkable to many restaurants, cafes, and sights. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street during certain hours, but our driver was able to drop us at the front door for check-in 0800. If after that it is just a few steps from the corner where your transport can drop you.

It has taken me since October to write this review and that I must apologise for. My Wife and I stayed here when we took our trip to Madrid at the end Of September. The location is perfect for anyone visiting this fantastic city. The hotel its self is lovely the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The restaurant both for breakfast and an evening meal were like the hotel itself, brilliant. Last but not least the staff. The morning we left the hotel we got picked up by taxi to take us to the train station for our onward journey to Seville. When we got on the train and started to move I realised I left my iPad in the taxi. I called the hotel and asked for the details of the taxi company so I could contact them and try and get it back. The hotel staff took it upon themselves to contact them and try taxi driver, get my iPad dropped off at the hotel, then they expertly packed my iPad and sent it onto my hotel in Seville. The iPad was there by breakfast the next morning. To say that I am grateful is an understatement. I cannot imagine too many hotels would go out their way to make sure that I had my iPad returned. The staff are a real credit. Thank you all so much for a memorable stay, we will be back.

Breakfast is excellent and Cafe Varela is worth dining in but make a very specific room request when booking. There are at least two effectively “basement “ rooms which, while perfect rooms in themselves, have no windows nor natural light. 702 is one of them. It sure isn’t on the 7th floor! It was like being a mole for two nights. That maybe is why we were given them and also why I did not ask for a move but if staying longer this would have been an unpleasant experience. Conversely had we had a room with daylight this would have been an excellent hotel being very close to at least four metro lines giving easy access all over town. Be aware the left luggage facility at Atocha is not open and has not been for some time.

For me, the hotel was perfect. The location is fantastic being right at the centre of things yet slightly removed from the very hectic Gran Via. The room was very comfortable and bright with a window that opens. There were no sounds from within the hotel or from the city outside. The bathroom was big with a huge shower. Plenty of room to hang clothes and store luggage. The room is well fitted out with two padded benches (perfect for putting on shoes) , a small desk and a comfortable chair. The breakfast buffet is ample. I ate three times in the Cafe Variela, on the ground floor, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, classic building, near Santo Domingo Plaza, Gran Vía, San Miguel Mercado, and many other places to visit. The front desk service is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast option was good - they offer all types of foods (pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit, beverages). The room had double doors and automatic window shades so it was quiet and dark when needed, bath towels are huge and freshened every day, complimentary mini bar, lots of USB ports and outlets. The decor is modern and light throughout the hotel. Overall, the value is good and would definitely return.

Hotel Preciados is an elegant, high quality hotel in a good area of Madrid, convenient to many of the major sights, metro, and dining. Although it has an old-world feel, the pubic spaces and rooms are very modern and stylish with quality finishes. Our room was spacious and clean, with quality linens. The front desk staff and servers in the adjoining restaurant were friendly and efficient. In fact, one of the pluses is the wonderful breakfast buffet with plenty of selections.
Our room was on the fourth floor overlooking the busy Calle Preciados, which is mainly a pedestrian street. What that means is that it's noisy at night (and into the wee small hours) with diners and revelers. We had to wear ear plugs to get a decent night's sleep. I would suggest you ask for a room on the other sides of the hotel. Secondly, our bath room had a wall of glass which provided no privacy, even for the toilet. This may be stylish and trendy for some people, but it was jarring to us. It did appear that other rooms have more conventional bathrooms, so you could ask for one as part of your reservation request.

I loved everything about this hotel, from location steps away from Puerta del Sol. Free minibar, and they refill what you consume the next day. Little details in the room like USB adapters you can use instead of using an adapter for EU outlets. A bidet in the bathroom, modern tea/coffee maker, iron was already in the room so no need to request for one. Pillows were abundant and luxurious, bed was comfortable. Breakfast included with the room. Service is excellent from the maid cleaning the room, to the front office checking you in, special mention to Bon, Filipino front desk clerk was very welcoming. They even gave free champagne and 12 grapes, a Spanish custom, to their guests. Really thoughtful and classy. This will be my go to next time I'm in Madrid. 5 stars!

Chose this hotel for favorable location for meetings. The room was a bit too "small" to get some work done, but my stay was so short that was not worth changing room.
The breakfast is really great if you have time to indulge in the many delicacies.
