My husband and I stayed in this nice hotel in the end of January. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a very nice part of town and walking distance to a tube station. We certainly recommend this hotel and happily would stay there again.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay and would highly recommend this hotel. The staff is attentive, friendly and professional, helping us with transport plans and making our stay here extra special. The breakfast buffet is great value, with a wide selection of cold and hot food. We also enjoyed an evening meal and snacks from the hotel...

We liked the location. We also liked that the room was large and that the bathroom was spacious and the shower state-of-the-art. The fact that there was a kitchenette helped a lot and had partly been a reason for us to pick this particular hotel. The WiFi was good and very stable (one didn't have to login every time on...

This is a relatively mid-priced hotel for the location within easy walking distance of the Prado, Plaza del Sol, Mercado, the Park, and other Madrid highlights. The staff go out of the way to make you comfortable and a big plus, parking is included. One of the staff persons not only rebooked us for later when we realized everything was...

We stayed here after arriving from Perth, via Dubai, with my wife and three children. We got two rooms, kids next door and a room for the parents. The hotel is conveniently located near Retiro and also close to shops, great brand shops. Head to the Retiro if you want to enjoy the outside air, probably no more than a...

The hotel is conveniently located in one the most centric and nice areas of Madrid and in 20-30 minutes walking range, you can reach a lot of hot spots... Rooms are big, modern style with very comfy beds and with high standards in cleanliness. The only negative aspect was the check-in experience. We arrived around 1:30pm and the room was...

This hotel is well placed in a classy area but just a bit out of the central area. Short walk to the nearest metro but uber taxi's in Madrid are super cheap. We took a triple room but to be honest was a little disappointing. The 3rd bed was a sofa bed which took up a lot of space and...

The hotel is fantastic, and the service is the icing on the top. The hotel staff was always extremely helpful, prompt, and they always go an extra mile to help you in any way they can. The location is quite convenient, close to many attractions and a train station.

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
