Rooms are confortable (but a bit noisy at low levels), bathroom are very well equipped. Staff is pleasant. The experience over the last 3 stay was good. I was all time...

very old hotel in a good central location, it is in need of complete renovation !!! This is absolutely not a five-star hotel, very old and uncomfortable room !!! A good selection of drinks in the Level Lounge, the staff tries to smooth over the situation.

You will not go wrong with location, dining, and cleanliness. It's close to the heart of all you need without being noisy. Staff are great, beds and rooms are clean, restaurant is good enough, nothing spectacular and gym, sauna and spa make it that much better than other properties.! Would take the family here or just the wife, no problem.

We've visited Madrid during December 2016 and we've reserved a room at this hotel. The room was ok but not really a 5 stars. The solution they've provided with the shelves accesible from bathroom as well as from the entrance is not a good one in my opinion as all the steam from the shower may get to the clothes....

Melia Princesa is a very nice hotel, strategically located in the heart of Madrid. A couple of blocks from Gran Via The staff is very friendly and always trying to do their best to make your stay a nice souvenir. The only negative points could be that they dont have a parking or any agreement with the parking stations in...

Madrid Melia Princesa Not a new hotel, it has been refurbished and appears attractive and welcoming upon arrival. The Level service is as always up to speed with dedicated service throughout. We had excellent support in planning our trip, the Level service is top notch. The level Lounge is as to be expected, good by all standards. That said, it...

Staying in Arguelles

Neighbourhood Profile
Arguelles
Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced, collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping spot where the major Spanish clothing and department store chains are less busy than their downtown counterparts, and there is an array of casual dining options to choose from. Check out nearby outdoor spaces such as the lushly planted Plaza de España to the south, which is often filled with craft stalls. To the west of Arguelles is the giant Parque Oueste, a calm and picturesque park with its own Egyptian temple.
